Where were you when Copeland changed your life. Step 1. Put Copelands discog on phone Step 2. Hit shuffle Step 3. Be happy
I met mae when they opened for Something Corporate back in... 2002 or 2003? They mentioned they were touring with a band named copeland, so I bought Beneath Medicine Tree the next day. It's been true love ever since.
I think the Ixora flower will be my next tattoo. Always nice when a band has some kind of symbol or imagery to use.
God my friend played Chin Up on my radio show a few days ago and I forgot how much I love that song, that album, and Ixora. I've only listened to their first three albums once, and I enjoyed all of them, but Ixora and You Are My Sunshine are amazing and make me want to cry. In Her Arms You Will Never Starve cuts deep.
Eat, Sleep, Repeat remains this bands best for me, but I love every single album for different reasons. In Her Arms may be their best song, though, objectively. Not my favorite, but it's also high on that list.
I think Ixora is their best album by a mile. If I'm going to listen to Copeland, there's little chance I'll put anything else on.
I've revisited Ixora some this winter and it's almost like I forgot how good it is. I love all of their albums a little differently, but the last three would all be 5/5. Ordinary is one of my favorite simpler songs.
Ordinary is fantastic, one of my favorite songs on the record. That 2-6 stretch is unreal, other than Lavender I suppose
All 5 are wonderful. One of my all time favorite discogs. ESR and Ixora alternate as my favorite. Really I just listen to them all. @Keagan Ilvonen where you at
my least fav on Ixora is probably Like a Lie and thats am amazing song. ESR ia my favourite but Ixora is their most consistent imo.
Lavender is such a meh song, really breaks up the flow of the album unfortunately. Most times I just skip it.
Should You Return is still one of my favorite opening tracks of all time. Gonna revisit YAMS and Ixora now.
Copeland is the Breaking Bad of bands. Each album (season) just gets better even when you didn't think that was even possible.
