this got me so excited i immediately threw on In Motion. so pumped for new music, regardless of the form it takes
The Minneapolis venue looks pretty small and more like a theatre with seats, which could be really cool.
I did some sleuthing and found the MA ticket site- their website only has three dates listed so far. The MA date is also a smaller venue- if it's seated, it's about 270 capacity. GA 370ish.
small rooms, they only want the superfans willing to do the digging to find the venues to get tickets. just kidding, it is quite goofy, the flyer even says "tickets at copeland.band" but only 3 of the shows are listed there and it's just a cursed Bandsintown widget.
May have to drag my ass out to Maynard. I LOVE that Jenny Dee album Aaron produced, what a great opener.
I do an annual visit to a close friend in Nashville and decided to do it the weekend Copeland is at third man.
I just caught a show last night at the Flat Iron, seriously cannot believe I will be seeing this band in a venue like that, and also can’t believe it hasn’t already sold out.
I am stoked they are playing third man but it’s not intimate in the sense that it’s small. It’s basically the same size as any place they have played in Nashville lately, it’s just got a way cooler vibe
the NC venue is maaaaybe 100 cap. definitely more intimate than Third Man. last time I saw them was when they opened for MCS on the CTTM 10th anniversary tour, which was in a 2k cap venue.
I kinda thought they would play like the end which is a place they played back in the early days. That place is an absolute shit hole though but I love it.
