I am jelly af and I'm not even a musician. I could sit and talk Aaron's ear off with questions about recording until he bashed my head in with a blunt object. Congrats on the recording, hope whatever y'all made turned out rad.
He had a deal up late last year that he made available for just 20 people on Instagram. $350 a session. So I took him up on it. We found an April date that worked for my bandmates and for him to record us. We all live in Lakeland and his studio is in Bartow, just 20 minutes or so away. He tracked it and kinda guided us and put is two cents here and there, but we had the song fully arranged and I had all the lyrics/vocals written for it.
Just for clarity, your post inspired me to find the way to do this and I did it (last week) and still no news post, maybe Jason doesn't want to promote another music forum
This is Bryan! Came on here to get the word out about the kickstarter, only to see someone already has. I really appreciate that!
Less than 48 hours to go on the Kickstarter. If anything, would love for you all to listen to the demos. There's the pre-Copeland version of Thanks to You on there.
man, it's breaking my heart that this didn't get more attention, I hope you're still able to finish the project and complete the album, I really enjoy all of the demos so far!
I thought the Underoath teaser for tomorrow's potential tour announcement was going to be the highlight today, what a great start to the week
Yeah why would they announce a tour and not the venues? I can’t find anywhere where they say where they are playing in Nashville.
They’re not coming anywhere close to me, but maaaaaaan I hope some new music will be released by the time this tour starts
Hoping to go to the show in a really random theater 50 minutes from my house in PA. 350 person capacity has me scared. Never seen them live.
Its been some years, but I last saw Copeland live in a not-too-big venue in NYC, including a pre-show meet and greet / acoustic set. They sounded fantastic, were very kind and approachable. From all the live YTs I've watched I don't think they've lost anything, and seem to be ageing like wine on both the live and release fronts. Guess I'm saying if the tour was coming anywhere near me, I wouldn't pass up the ability to see them - particularly at a smaller venue - again. The theatre seems like the perfect place to really enjoy the music provided it doesn't sell out too quick. Definitely the kind of band where you can get wrapped up in the atmosphere of the music in a space like that. Enjoy the show.
