I think it also has a lot to do with the hiatus itself, and getting a breather to experiment with new sounds, without the pressure they had earlier in their career to put out music, tour, put out music, tour, etc. I'm not sure I've ever been so happy that an album was so good. What a time.
Aaron recently posted a demo of a song he made while he was on the In Motion tour to the Copeland Discord server. Says it probably won't end up on next album though.
Crazy to think that the time gap between blushing and the new record will be greater than the hiatus after YAMS.
If you live in Lakeland, Florida or even a few hours away, this is a date worth getting excited about Friday August 15th 2025 I can let you guys know more soon. Hopefully later today. You can DM me if you really want to know, I just can't post it publicly yet.
You're only 50 minutes to an hour and a half depending on the time of day you drive out to Lakeland! We are exits 33 to 28 on I-4
41 tickets sold thus far. I really want to pack this out for Aaron, but I'll still be thrilled even if we just hit around 75-100 people. This show is worth traveling 3-4 hours for, or even more considering how rare and intimate this one will be.
70 tickets sold thus far! Any of you all coming?! I would love to have some absolutepunk/chorus folks come out.
Aaron has a ton of ties to Nashville from what it seems. He told me his main sound person is out there, but thankfully he is cool working with our in-house sound person who is solid.
I would have thought this could sell out much quicker, but well... I'd go almost anywhere in Europe to see Copeland or Aaron at this point, maybe the fanbase is still strong, but scattered a hell lot
Yeah I am genuinely surprised that the sales are this low for it - I'm too far away to travel or would absolutely love to catch it, especially after hearing the new song he teased on Insta earlier this week. I noticed the show hasn't been posted by the actual Copeland page, is there a reason Aaron didn't want to do that? It has over double the reach of his personal account and I assume a lot of his set will be Copeland songs?
He posted on Copeland's Instagram story I think. He honestly didn't think it would sell that many tickets with just one week of announcing. He was actually really stoked when I told him the number. I think he is happy doing this as a show for family, friends, and a few fans. Also, he is gonna do a ton of none-Copeland material I think. I ran a paid promo of $100 on a facebook event boost throughout to run at a 50 mile radius from the venue. We are at like 75 tickets now. It would be really cool to get Orlando and Tampa people to drive to Lakeland. I ran into this issue when we showed the American Football film. It's like Florida people don't wanna drive to us.
Ironically Winter Haven has more lakes Also, the main lakes we have are small and nice to walk around. I live right beside Lake Morton and Lake Hollingsworth
