That’s how Erase was for me. I think I cried when I first heard it. I didn’t expect anything else from them again and then to hear a perfect song like that. When Aaron sings “Close my eyes, breathe you in” and then the whole band comes in… that is a perfect moment that captures the band
the only time i saw Copeland with any openers was when FIL and Many Rooms opened. glad only one of those supporting acts has any semblance of relevancy nowadays
10/23/05 - Copeland, Daphne Loves Derby, Melee, The Spill Canvas 03/22/06 - The Starting Line, Copeland, Cartel, Gatsbys American Dream 09/16/06 - Relient K, Mae, Copeland, Waking Ashland, Sherwood, Dustin Kensrue, Melee, House of Heroes, My American Heart, Brandtson, Goodbye Tomorrow, Tokyo Rose 03/25/10 - Copeland, Person L, I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody's Business, Deas Vail 11/25/15 - Copeland, Eisley 11/17/16 - Copeland, Rae Cassidy
That was a good one. I'm pretty sure Red Jumpsuit Apparatus got added to that lineup last minute. I'm also partial to this one I saw in 04 Sparta / Further Seems Forever / Copeland / Sunshine
That first Waking Ashland album ruled my life for like a year. Seeing them and Copeland together would’ve been insane, let alone adding in Mae and Relient K and Dustin mfin Kensrue
wait can you elaborate on why you're glad about that? I don't follow MR but Joe/FIL is by far one of my favorite active artists.
oh i love Joe and FIL. was talking about Many Rooms (she was allegedly revealed to be a neo-Nazi). went back and clarified that i'm glad only one "supporting" act is still relevant.
A one off "Christian music" festival which was basically all the Christian adjacent bands at the time, it was pretty awesome
Anyone in the UK seen Copeland? No idea if they were over here back in the day? Followed them casually until Ixora which is one of my all time favourites now, so may have missed an opportunity before then.
Damn, Goodbye Tomorrow, it's a travesty that none of Travis's bands ever took off. I really thought we would get more Terminal shows or music when they played Furnace Fest in 2021, but seems like nope
The Eisley and Cassidy shows must've been awesome. Let's not forget when they were with Paramore and did that prank in the dresses. The juxtaposition between their generally more serious, artsy persona makes anytime they goof off even funnier and endearing.
I knew I recognised that name. They changed their name to Alive In Wild Paint. Never liked that name, although looking back Goodbye Tomorrow is definitely of its time.
