I don't think those dudes are idiots by any means, I think Chris typically has some good points and analysis in general.

 

Yeah I think it’s worth mentioning that for the most part I don’t align with their tastes but they all have done good solid work / made good points on a number of other things before, I just think their Copeland takes are bad.

 

Maybe they're not idiots, but the pop punk lens that they're looking through kinda misses the whole point of this band. If they say the words "FALL OUT BOY" in an episode about Blushing, I'm out.

 

Oh for sure, I think in general they are missing "the point" of the band. Also not enough love on the instrumentation and production from ESR onward.

Fall Out Boy has been mostly very bland and boring since they reunited imo

 

I get not liking it but idk how an album like mania can be perceived as bland and boring ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

That's the latest one, right? Haven't even listened to it, the two before that lost me

yea while continuing their pattern of sort of ripping on Ixora... like the whole idea that the drums are burried on ixora idk.. the drums are soo loud on that album.. I think they are listening to a different record

 

I just ordered the YAMS CD/DVD from amazon haha... I guess im obsessed

 

My Xbox 360 was stolen and that dvd was in there. It was a fucking tragedy.
