have I always loved you - erase is a pretty flawless run IMO. The first four tracks on YAMS and In Motion are also good, I think they just start albums really well.
I had this realization after putting the album on again today and for some reason it immediately hit just so for me and I was like "wow now that's something else" even though I've heard it how many times now?
So many good runs of songs here. I definitely would go with 1-4 of both YAMS and Ixora. This band is unbelievable.
oh i totally forgot about our dinner/copeland conversation - everyone know that i listened to beneath medicine tree while making quesadillas tonight
Ya know. Historically, when I talk about my “favorite band” it means I could be talking about My Epic, mewithoutYou, or Anberlin. I think I’m just going to go on and add Copeland into that mix.
Yeah they've somehow stealthed it right up into my favourites without me ever being aware of it. On my last.fm they are about to surpass Jimmy Eat World into 2nd place in my overall listens Still got 1000 plays to go to even come close to touching Thrice for 1st place, but I wouldn't be surprised if I hammer out 1000 plays this year. All this talk of their back catalogue is reminding me how excellent it is and I'm excited to explore it all again in depth.
yeah, YAMS, ixora, and blushing all have some of the best opening 4-5 track runs I’ve ever heard in anyone’s discog
I guess for VIP he takes requests for what to play acoustic and I am struggling to figure out a choice lol
What's awesome is they also have some of the best closing stretches out of any discography.. so maybe they just have one of the best discogs? haha
choose the one who loves you more is one of my favorites, i think this song in particular predicted a lot of their later work
top 5 Copeland songs: Chin Up Erase I can make you feel young again Love affair As above so alone Honorable mentions: no one really wins, should you return, disjointed, to be happy now
should you return erase when you thought you'd never stand out colorless the grey man choose the one who loves you more in her arms you will never starve no one really wins waltz on water coffee idk i love this band!
