I'm thinking some of these might get moved to bigger rooms depending on sales. The place in Michigan has a bigger venue below it that they played on their last tour. I'm guessing it'll get moved there
I’ve always maintained that their albums get better as they go. Is it possible that they can keep that trajectory going with this? I feel like it is. Damn.
did the pink vinyl end up getting posted and sell out or just clearwater blue? i'm not even seeing the standard black one.
maybe it's good then that only two have, and hopefully will, be released. I'm good with two. 3 brings me into 'all get out' territory where i become too familiar.
Pink should be going up today. don’t know if I want to wait or just grab the Clearwater. tour lineup is bomb. playing the same venue they always do, which is rad because it was actually shut down while they were on hiatus. ticketmaster presale code for MPLS is CHILL,not sure if that’s applicable elsewhere
my guess was Night Figures would be the song released today. some people already had it, so why not get everyone on board.
Just realised that 14th February is a Thursday rather than the universal release day of Friday. Valentine’s Day must have seemed more appropriate and an opportunity that couldn’t be missed. How does this kind of thing impact first week sales? Does it only count for a single 24 hour period or do they bump it to the next week?
I listened to Night Figures back when it was first released, but totally have forgotten what it sounds like. Tbh, I’ve kinda already forgotten what Pope sounds like too. I think I’m gonna try to go into this album without re-listening to either.
"On Your Worst Day", tomorrow, Friday December 7th on all streaming platforms. I saw this on broadwayworld - Say it ain't so.
Uh holy heck the vocalists they tabbed for this project. Aaron Marsh from Copeland, Brennan Taulbee from Polyenso, Nate Barcalow from Finch, Tilian Pearson from Dance Gavin Dance, Donovan Melero from Hail the Sun, Keith Goodwin from Good Old War, Kerry Courtney from Goodnight Neverland, Casey Crescenzo from The Dear Hunter, Michael McGough from Being as an Ocean, Tanner Merritt from O'Brother and Nathan Hussey from All Get Out.
Night Fogures is incredible. I really believe that COPELAND has the best overall body of work in this generation. Did that pink vinyl ever go up?
