Is this the first tooth and nail record with an explicit tag?

Just finished track 9 of 11. It's everything I wanted it to be, and I love where their singles are in the placement. Their Chicago show with From Indian Lakes CANNOT come too soon.

How lucky we are that this band reunited. Ixora and potentially this record are my favorites. What a great evolution Copeland has had.

Strange Flowers & Waltz on Water are early contenders, along with the pre-release tracks.

Omg waltz on water. Ooh-ooh ooh.

    Album is good.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

    Strange Flower is unbelievable

I mean I literally don't believe it exists

Kings Kaleidoscope had one on Beyond Control, but they also put out a “clean” version.

First to be given an explicit tag but not the first to drop the F-bomb. Civilian did on their album You Wouldn’t Believe What Privilege Costs.

Also, Norma Jean dropped it on Polar Similar if you count Solid State and Kings Kaleidoscope dropped it on Beyond Control if you count BEC (and that album did get an explicit tag).

Point is, it doesn’t seem to be much of a thing anymore.

    I do not exist.

Just bought my copy! It seems humorous to me to have an album titled 'Blushing [Explicit]'.

I can just see those fundamentalists shouting "YOUR BLUSHING IS TOO EXPLICIT! STOP WITH YOUR EXPLICIT BLUSHING!"

I must now go to the source Supporter

Brave Saint Saturn also got censored by Tooth & Nail on their second album:

I remember listening to those two tracks for the first time and wondering what in the hell was going on because I don’t recall there being an “explicit” label on the cover. They just got edited without their knowledge for the silliest reason. Hell and pissed. Look out!

    Definitely a headphones album

Brings to mind elements of the 'What is this Heart?' album by How to Dress Well

  17. This album is a journey. Definitely not an every day album, but definitely one for a cold rainy night like lastnight when I finally got to listen to it. It’s gorgeous and perfect.

It sounds like this is an album that requires full attention to fully appreciate. So either I listen at work with interruptions or I have to wait all day to listen at home without distractions... tough call

I'll write you into all of my songs Supporter

Listen at home with no distractions.

Through to Skywriter. This is pretty good until As Above, So Alone then really takes off with Suddenly. Suddenly is my favorite by a country mile so far

I've waited this long without listening to an early leak so one more day isn't that bad. All the comments are getting me hyped but I'm trying to go into this without strong opinions. I'm hoping for a similar experience as Ixora where I went in with minimal expectations and was completely blown away.

I've got a 4 hour drive ahead of me today and I get to hear this for the first (and probably second, third, etc) time!
