If this would be your first Copeland experience, I have a feeling it'll rival your first Jimmy Eat World experience with IB.
He hasn't listened to copeland since 2006 haha. So he's missed YAMS IXORA and now this coming out. I'd say dive in!!!!!!!
Yeah, I feel like polyenso has a lot of great ideas, but there is some missing link in their writing that can’t reach the high bar that their (obviously high) skills and production value suggest. I’m hoping they don’t call it a quits because I know what they’re going for and want them to get there.
Happy to say that both bands are from my backyard and put Florida in a positive light, if but for a moment
Pretty sure every song is in a minor key. So probably. But everything but ordinary and in her arms was in minor on Ixora as well. Aaron just loves his i VII VI progressions
HOUSTON on Instagram: “#copeland #aaronmarsh” Looks like this person posted high quality vids of almost the entire set
I lied to you teebs. I started randomly singing a song in my head today, and I was just humming along, and then the chorus started to come to me, “I’ve got my life in a suitcase, and I’m ready to run run run away..” And I suddenly had a realization that I listened to that EP religiously in Spring ‘09. I just thought to myself while I was humming along, “Wait. Holy crap. That’s Copeland isn’t it?” It’s meant to be. Gotta dive in the next time I have time to. Edit: And apparently that song wasn’t part of the EP.
Umm. It’s an album and it’s called You Are My Sunshine. Ugh. Get woke or get away. Edit: Dangit. You noticed the mistake before I could call you out.
