I’m not even mad I have to wait a few days I’m just in actual euphoria that I get a new Copeland album.
Thank you for sharing this! It's so disappointing about the crowd; hopefully the next one makes up for it! I love that they played Should You Return!
I saw them once in MSP and once in Milwaukee and the crowds were pretty great for both. These shows were both pre-hiatus (2008 and 2009) so I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it.
The last time I saw them the crowd was talking so loudly during When You Thought Youd Never Stand Out Aaron stopped playing and they skipped the rest of the song
I don’t get it either. There’s a setlist for a reason. They might not have rehearsed the song in a long time, they probably don’t have lighting or visuals for it, they might not have all the right pedals and keyboards for it, it might even just be later in the setlist! But I know people that shout stuff don’t think about any of that shit
I always try to stand as close to the stage as possible for this band or else the experience is sort of ruined by people talking.
I’m going into full Copeland mode. If anyone knows of any recent interviews Aaron or the guys do/have already done for this album other than the Labeled podcast, please share them here! So excited.
Skywriter and Colorless are such jams...This thing sounds so great through decent headphones. so moody and deep
this thing is so dreamy and layered and so rhythmically interesting; the other instruments sometimes seem to lag behind or sprint ahead of the drums which adds to the unreality
album is very special, not a lot sounds like this. it's very "what if late-talk talk were a r&b band"
