pretty sure i said that exact thing 4-5 pages back

 

Ixora > YAMS > ESR > IM > BMT

I love them all apart from BMT (it's still a good album tho)

 

This is basically my ranking. I consider the band to just get better with every album. Ixora and YAMS flip flop time to time.

 

I love BMT and have such strong nostalgia and warm feelings tied up in it. I still like YAMS, but after IM and ESR – especially ESR since it's one of my all-time favorite albums – it felt like a bit of a letdown and I never got over that.

For me it would go:

Eat Sleep Repeat
Ixora
In Motion
Beneath Medicine Tree
You Are My Sunshine

 

This is the Modern Vinyl guy, right?

They did a podcast on Ixora back when it came out. It was the only podcast I ever listened to by them. A lot of bad takes on that episode.

And I think they even liked the album. It was weird.

Also, I just put on ESR and then checked Chorus and got caught up on this thread. I don't know how any fan of Copeland, old or new, can not like this album.

 

I'm so ready to get this album now after thinking about how dope this band is.

So is this actually dropping on streaming on the 14th? Or is that when they'll email d/l links and then it'll hit streaming on Friday with everything else?

 

Everything I've seen says 2/14

 

Amazon apparently says 2/15

 

Maybe we should only tip a bottle back to keep us filled up

 

Someone told me that Apple Music says 2/15 too so hmmmmmmmmmm WHAT TO BELIEVE

 

it's coming out on a Friday at least for streaming sites

maybe they (the band and the label) are sending out downloads for pre-orders on the 14th

anyways I'm gonna try to have the review for this up on Monday.

 

Well damn. I mean I pre-ordered so it doesn’t really matter.

 

Can't believe I made it this far without listening to any of the singles.

 

I hope the downloads go out at midnight on Wednesday, I was planning on staying up for an incredible first listen!

 

would a NPR stream help this band? That's the only way I see them going in that direction

 

A Copeland Tiny Desk set would be fantastic

 

Yeah Matt suggested that on that Labeled podcast and I am so on board.

 

Yeah that's where I first heard the idea, would be perfect
