R and b and hip hop will be a big influence here. Probably to move forward without john they had to change their percussive approach. Def miss his style of drums over this, the Ixora rhythm section is incredible. I’m digging the new songs a ton tho.
Won't listen to a second until the album is released - Too much other good stuff floating around at the moment so it's no real hardship
I'm in the camp of not listening to the singles as well. I listened to Pope just because it was exciting to have new Copeland music for the first time in years, but otherwise I know I'm going to buy the album and I'd rather just experience it as a whole
AOTY for 2019, I can already tell. I love this so much better than Ixora just form the tracks released so far.
They sent out Ixora two weeks before release right? Any chance we get this next week or am I living a pipe dream.
I’m honestly surprised at my resolve to not listen to these. I remember trying to do that with Ixora and I caved for Erase and cried alone in my apartment. Wasn’t really that bad of a decision, now that I think about it.
Excited to listen to this podcast tomorrow. I know it wasn’t in the pre-order pacakages, but it would be reeeeeal nice if a 2 week advance showed up in my email Friday. A man can hope.
That's cool. Been wondering why T&N haven't utilised the Labeled podcast in this way to promote every release they're putting out. A conversation with a member of the band would definitely get me more interested in a lot of the newer artists that I haven't checked out yet.
Podcast doesn’t go that deep into the album but a lot of great stuff about Aaron and some fun things about the future.
