Converge’s merch operation is more impressive than any other band. Glassjaw used to be up there in the Merchdirect days but they are barely a band anymore.

I remember my disgust when I preordered and I, someone who has never met anyone in this band, did not get a shards copy. SMH.

Decibel's cool in my book. Definitely the best extreme music mag in North America.

 

In a career full of "ah fuck, holy shit" moments within songs, that final section of Trespasses may be at the top.

Feels like the black sheep of their discography but still plenty of bangers. Also, Grim Heart/Black Rose is still probably my favorite of their slower melodic songs. Genuinely beautiful.

Converge is at least consistent with putting out new music though

Both bands are great and have good merch. No complaints from my end. The repress was an instant preorder for me.

Converge can make as much merch as they want, it all whips ass. Buy it or don't.
