hoping it's good, his sparser stuff is always his best

 

Raw, acoustic Oberst has me optimistic.

Hoping this will be a good winter record.

 

I'll give it a shot, because I want to like his work, but the only project of his I've ever enjoyed is Desaparecidos.

 

I originally had the title reading 2006

 

Curious to hear this as his recent work has really fallen off my radar the last couple of years. thats coming from someone who would consider Lifted to be top 5 albums of all time. sad that what has become but curious based on the description

 

His solo releases have been pretty great. Also, considering the fact that this is an acoustic album, I'm even more excited.

 

Recommendation on album? be willing to give something a listen.
