Two weeks work.

 

What are some of your favorite albums you have on CD that aren’t on streaming?

 

Love me some Explosions in the Sky.

 

It's not on streaming where I live so it's definitely gotta be Elva by Unwritten Law.

 

I just got off a 13 hour work shift. Made $0 in tips. But it’s always nice to come home to some brand new CDs

 

neither of the albums by one of my very favorite bands ever, Seattle post-rock/emo/indie legends (in my head) Juno has ever been on proper streaming services and their vinyl is obscenely rare/pricey. but I still have my CDs baybee. that's Nate Mendel on bass!

 

Mine are Young Effectuals and Com Plex by The Helio Sequence, an indie rock band from Portland. Their drummer played on Good News for People Who Love Bad News by Modest Mouse. Both albums are out of print, not on streaming, and never got a vinyl pressing.

 

Without hunting for ideas it’s almost certainly Jon Frederik Band’s Life in Progress.

Not an album, but I have a The Day The World Went Away single by NIN that’s not on streaming (even though a bunch of their 90’s singles are). Just has a couple versions of TDTWWA and an extended version of Starfuckers Inc.

 

Has anyone bought these Kallax dividers? I'm thinking this might be a good storage solution since I already have the kallax with a few open cubes.

These albums hold up extremely well for me

 

excellent finds in a Poconos flea market. would love to see the world where Kara's Flowers got big and we didn't have current day Maroon 5 (even tho Songs About Jane still goes incredibly hard)

 

Had no idea the dudes from Maroon 5 were in a power pop band.

 

Even if all you got was The Starting Line's cover of "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" that's a get.

 

Did someone say the starting line?

 

Went by a used record store last weekend. I contain multitudes.



Both in amazing condition.

 

Two absolute 5-star classics. Nice!

 

New albums on compact disc

 

Got a few shelves (and Neil Young’s Harvest and U2’s Pop) at a yard sale for a buck each yesterday, so I can finally get the rest of my collection out of boxes soon.
