2 > 1 > 3 > 5 > 6 > 4 The highs and lows are part of the journey. Just like my beloved Fast & Furious
May be a little controversial… and I haven’t done a full rewatch in a long time. So I’m open to shifting the middle section… but as of right now. 2>3>5>1>6>>>>>>>4
I have always disliked the model UN one in S3. A lot of the jokes in the main story miss for me (literally culminates in fart jokes) and the b-plot with Britta trying to be defiant to Chang is painful
If I had to pick an episode I dislike, it’s the one where they decide who has to pair up with Todd. Hate the way they break him and how it ends with them just insulting him. They come across as really horrible people.
No. Jeff does thinking he’s sexting Briggs’s boyfriend, but it’s actually her cousin he’s texting. Britta has nothing to do with it.
I know the movie would be more of a time commitment, but he did the script reading during lockdown. I’d assume all are on good terms and he would do it as long as the schedule works out.
I've been kinda assuming/guessing that he'll be in it for a bit but not the whole thing Would love for him to be in all of it though
In an interesting development, this is the first time Donald has been clean shaven in several years...
Started my quasi-annual re-watch today. Decided to completely skip the first two episodes and start with Introduction to Filmmaking, is that a common practice with folks in here?
so here's a weird fun fact. just threw this on Netflix because I'm too lazy to get out my DVDs, and s1e4 (Social Psychology) is noticeably different on streaming. an entirely new (to me) opening scene and quite a few lines scattered throughout that aren't on the DVD thought I was going crazy til I googled it to confirm lol. very strange, I wonder if any more episodes are this different?
Also the subtitles on Netflix are bloody annoying too. Any time there's a language that isn't English, it just stops putting the subtitles up. The episode in season 1 where Abed first films the group and shows his dad, it doesn't translate what they say. If I hadn't already watched the first season so much, i'd be really annoyed!
yeah the pilot I already knew about. that's just a syndication edit to make it shorter iirc, the DVD pilot runs a few minutes longer. I don't think there are any completely different scenes like 1x4 had I just watched two more and they seemed exactly the same as I remember from the DVD. strange! maybe it's a... conspiracy
I've still only found the one so far, but it's a fairly significant difference: - opening scene on the DVD is pretty quick, Chang scribbles something on the board and tells the class to leave. everything in the Netflix version up to Chang kissing Annie on the head was totally new to me - a bit of Duncan dialogue in the cafeteria scene is missing on the DVD, from memory when he calls Annie an 8 (which is a British 10) and when he asks her for a fiver - his reaction to her hand-over-face thing (idk what to call this lol) in the classroom. on Netflix he just says something like "let's do this", on the DVD he says "ooh I like that, that's very good" - the last line of Troy's freakout ("there's so much dust in here!") isn't on the DVD. can't believe they cut this one lol it's absolutely gold worth noting my s1 DVD does actually have an extended cut of the Valentine's Day episode too, though it's a bonus feature and the regular episode plays from the menu. maybe there's a few alternate cuts in existence and Netflix just has one for 1x4? who knows, mystery, *et cheterra*
