There's no way that DG and YB aren't involved. I reckon they're keeping whoever else is it in under wraps for the time being.
I never fucking thought I would see the day, I am actually giddy at work right now. This absolutely made my entire week This show is so important to me and I can’t believe this is finally happening
keep in mind it should help to temper expectations with the final product, especially given most other tv reboots
sounds it'll have the full main case (minus Chevy of course) so that automatically makes it more promising than a lot of the later stuff gonna be interesting to see what direction they take it. Probably go with "self aware fan service" but I think there is a sweet spot between "fan service" and "fan service that is so self aware it just becomes fan service again" that'll be tricky to nail but if they hit it right could be fantastic
Seems like if he was involved, it’d be a smart marketing ploy to wait until later to announce his involvement
I assume they announced it with the cast they did because that was the main cast of season 6 and probably easiest to get the contracts figured out with. Donald and Yvette being tagged is a good sign that the intention is for them to be in it and the contracts just aren’t finalized yet. Plus they’ll get bonus press when they eventually announce Donald is onboard. Or maybe he’ll be a suprise cameo or something. Who knows!
I wonder if we’ll see Frankie, Hickey, Duncan, and Elroy for like 5 minutes and then spend the rest of the film with the original study group. Plus Chang.
Been watching a few episodes tonight as I haven’t gone through in a few years. Still so damn good. So far I’ve watched: -Modern Warfare -Anthropology 101 -and the zombie episode I’ll watch Cooperative Calligraphy next. But first, Rings of Power
Devil's advocate...do we really need a Community movie? Six seasons and a movie was a throwaway line which fans adopted as a slogan which somehow became a mission statement somewhere along the way, even though the show was huffing and puffing by the end (season six is fine, but it's still a step below the first three seasons and even season five....still better than the gas leak year though). I'm still 100% watching it, even it doesn't have Donald et al., I just felt the show wrapped in a satisfying way and I'm a sucked for fitting endings.
I think S1 and 4 are the only weak seasons and 6 is full of some of my favorite episodes, so I'm totally cool with a movie happening
