You all have officially made me start a new rewatch

Why is it that the show with the loudest intro in the world has no skip button on Netflix

 

I really want to rewatch this now too, it's been years at this point

The early seasons of this show give me a nostalgia that few other shows can give me

 

Yeah 1-3 is my favorite show of all time. My comfort show for going to sleep. 5 and 6 still hold a special place too.

 

Gotta say I'm a little bored by S1. The show was too much of a generic sitcom at first and gets so much better after the chicken fingers episode

 

I feel like most comedies struggle with their identity at first. 30 Rock, Parks & Rec, Community, Always Sunny. All see their characters change pretty significantly. It’s rare you get a show like the Office or (for all its flaws) HIMYM that come out of the gate extremely confident and fully formed.

 

almost every comedy pilot I can think of is really bad lmao. Community honestly has one of the better ones but it still doesn't represent what the show would turn into at all

 

I remember 30 Rock's pilot being pretty good, haven't seen it in a while though. The Good Place also has a great pilot.

 

It's so weird seeing the season one exterior shots at LA City College lol

lol that's gotta be one of the dumbest jokes in the show but I still laugh at Donald's delivery every time

 

One underrated line that always kills me is from "Competitive Wine Tasting" when Professor Garrity tells his acting class their homework is to drink a glass of cognac in a bathtub.

 

That's actually an episode that I entirely forget exists pretty often for some reason. I still don't really remember much about it right now and I've seen this show a million times

I only want a movie if Donald is involved. Otherwise I'm happy with them leaving it as is.

Yeah it's not as big of an advancement as it sounds like I don't think lol. They're probably getting tired of being asked in every interview
