I know it probably reflects poorly on my viewing habits but this show was the first thing I thought of when I heard the news. So fucking sad

 

I stared at that far too long without getting it

 

That Joel tweet just reminded me that they literally just abandoned their podcast without warning like over a year ago lol

 

Just watched this the other day but I may swing back to it.

 

I just watched that episode literally last night. eerie timing

 

Season 6 is so underrated. The bit in Basic Crisis Room Decorum with Britta running around in the background looking for pants because she shit herself is super funny.

 

I think anyone who dismisses seasons 5-6 as being anywhere close to 4 simply refused to accept that the show could actually still be just as hilarious once Harmon came back

 

If you could stitch together the first half of season 5 and the second half of season 6, you’d end up with a season in the ballpark of 3. They’re both spottier than the golden years and perhaps lack anything as amazing as chicken fingers or remedial chaos theory, but there’s a great run of 8.5/10 episodes in each. Even as is, they’re much closer in quality to the great seasons than the 4th.

 

Cooperative Polygraphy is definitely up there with the best episodes of the show. I’d probably put the season 6 finale in that tier too.

 

I quite like 5, but it was the giant hand on the RV episode of season 6 that made me realize they didn't have any stories left to tell.

 

the RV episode is maybe one of my favourites in the whole show lmao. Space Elder Britta kills me every time

 

I think that harmon and members of the cast were actively doing drugs and writing and changing stuff as they shot it on 6 which is why that season seems insane and at times makes no fuckin sense

 

The Season 6 Incest Episode is one of my favorite episodes of the entire series, even if a lot of the last couple seasons is lacking

 

This is one of my favorite episodes of the series too! Probably top 5.

The character interactions in 5 and 6 are mostly the best of the show, even if the stories don’t land as regularly or seem as fresh.

 

All I remember from season 6 is yooba dooba and the board game

 

Seasons 5 & 6 have this labyrinthine characteristic to the dialogue that i love and think is hilarious, and each of the actors deliver it perfectly. Plus, the remaining cast seems the closest in those seasons.

 

S6 might be my favorite season of the show, despite the fact that Donald was the funniest character to me

 

I rewatched the show a few years ago and I legit loved all of it.

 

Season 5 and Season 6 were both great.

 

now THIS is a man who knows how to pick a favourite episode
