3 did not hold up for me on my most recent rewatch. I guess it only took like 11 watchthroughs to get there

 

The Troy repairman plot line is very bizarre. It’s dragged out over so long and ends very abruptly

 

I respect season 3 for doing some super weird shit for a network sitcom, but it's not nearly as funny or enjoyable as the first two seasons

I think the majority of S3 is better than S1, but less consistent because things really go off the rails during the episodes that Chang took over the school. But even those had some good moments sprinkled into the episodes.

I really liked the AC repair school stuff lol. I mean, come on, they got John freaking Goodman!

 

Yeah I love the AC repair school nonsense. So dumb and ridiculous but makes perfect sense for the world of Greendale.

 

"The Truest Repairman will Repair Man"

 

I love when they explain away the vice dean's ponytail. "I'm going through some stuff"

 

The repairman stuff was funny, I just don’t think it was handled as well as it could have been from a narrative perspective

 

Plot line is worth it for DG’s line delivery of “i am the truest repairman!” alone

 

The guy screaming about the Sun Chamber is hysterical to me.

 

Yeah was just about to say this, the "are you on coke?" line fucking kills me

Dictator Chang is way worse than repairman Troy

The model UN episode from early in the season is also my least favorite episode from the first three seasons

 

1 and 6 are both better than 3, is how I feel these days

2>1>3>6>5>4

Feels weird having 5 so low because it has some of the show's best episodes but that's more a testament to how much I love this show

 

The repairman series are starting now.

Ohhh!!! Now it's the one where Jeff has to join Dean at the mall and they sing Kiss From a Rose. Oh I love it! Lol

I just watched this a few minutes ago and seeing these characters again (names or not) was good for my soul

That was genuinely funny, I wonder if Dan or any of the other writers worked on it
