The finale for Season 4 is without a doubt the worst episode of the whole series, and it's scary to think that for a while we assumed that was the SERIES finale.
I think season 4 helped give Britta and Annie some dimensions, but that season definitely didn't know what to do with Abed
Funny I just realized they spent that whole season building up this storyline that Chang and City College were planning something terrible for Greendale. Then when the writers didnt know where to take the plot they just had Chang say "eh I'm out" and that was the end of that story lol
They did the same thing with Troy and Britta dating. Just an absolute nothing of a storyline. Like I think prior to the break-up ep, every actual plotline revolving around it was more about Britta causing a potential rift in Troy and Abed’s relationship
There are 3 episodes where they show them together and the rest seem to pair up Jeff and Britta. I never understood it.
I really hate "Intro to Felt Surrogacy." Will see if it's true on this rewatch but I've always thought that is the absolute worst episode.
Having just blasted through season 4, the puppets episode and the finale are both awful and easily two of the lowest points the show ever hit.
What do you guys think is the worst episode of the first three seasons? I've never really liked the model UN one
can't stand the Jack Black episode. I get that it's going for cringe comedy but jesus christ I never needed this show to do cringe comedy
A lot of s1 isn’t bad as much as it is just not super memorable The pillow fort vs blanket ford ep is probably up there near the puppet ep in terms of “trying so hard to do a concept that it forgets to be actually funny”
I never really loved the first Christmas episode. I don’t think it’s my least favorite though. But it always sticks out as subpar for me.
I just hate how unlikeable the whole group is in that episode. It's got funny moments, sure. But that end, with the group being horrible, just bothers me too much.
This was the episode that tipped the “zany and weird and heartwarming” cringe stuff over the edge for me.
