God, the Troy departure/ the floor is lava episode is so good. Better than the first paintball episode even. You can really tell what Dan added to the show coming from S4 into S5 with episodes like Asscrack Bandit and Geothermal Escapism
Love that episode. I always die laughing when he asks Chang if he ever masturbated in the study room and his whole facial expression shifts, slips his hand out of the lie detector, and walks away lmao.
I liked season 2's paintball episodes a bit more. The paint raining down from the sprinklers was pretty great
I don’t think there are many episodes of tv where I can actually remember where I was when I watched it, but the first paintball episode is one of them. Game-changer.
Just got around to Garrett's Wedding and, yep, never fails to leave me dying laughing. "Maybe I AM GOD" "I'm no Doctor Phil, but I don't want my son to kill himself" "Keep on wearin', keep on wearin' those pAaAnTsss" "Now this is a man who knows how to marry his cousin!" "Let him finish" "They are letting me finish" "I know, I was being sarcastic." "Stay and eat cake, OR GO TO HELL!" And the little blurb at the end of the writer who extensively researched incest to write the episode xD.
This right there is a top tier line. We were so blessed to be given a final season just for that alone.
I've been seeing a lot more people talking about this show lately... it's happening!! It's finally starting to get the respect it deserves!
I’ve started rewatching season 4. I don’t remember it being bad, but I don’t remember it being good either.
I skip it every time. The Halloween one might be the only one I really enjoy. Apparently Jim Rash wrote the Freaky Friday one though which isn't nearly as bad as the rest. The Inspector Space Time convention wasn't totally awful either
I still contend that Herstory of Dance is the best episode of that season. Everything else I don’t much care for.
