Eh if anything this helped Yahoo's TV platform a lot. No one was watching those other shows they had. Didn't Harmon say that the Yahoo episodes were averaging like 10 million views per episode, and then he went on a rant about how NBC was misreporting their numbers? Or did I dream that all up lol
Yeah, Yahoo just wanted a show to point fingers at and blame, when in reality it was a very poorly implemented and designed service. It was difficult to find things, their selection was horrible, barely any marketing, and the most basic adblockers worked on it That being said, season 6 is still one of my favorites.
It was also probably a horrible idea to let Community go to Yahoo just because they outbid Hulu last-minute. As a new service, Yahoo was a far greater risk than the already-established Hulu, plus the other 5 seasons were already on there. Hulu didn't actually pass on picking it up, they just didn't offer enough money apparently.
I think about that every time I see her haha. I hadn't watched her in anything outside of that before her joining the MCU. Oh and apparently 21 Jump Street which I did not realize she was in
The League in its prime was hard to beat in the realm of raunchy comedy, except maybe by Always Sunny
He was also a talking giraffe in Rick and Morty lol. And I think he did a narration or two on Community before officially joining the show later on
He's also a really interesting scientist character on Netflix's Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters
Anyone unfamiliar with Brie outside of CM/Scott Pilgrim/Jump Street need to see "Short Term 12." It's a great movie and the cast is pretty much a who's who of who's hot today (Lakeith Stanfield, Stephanie Beatriz, Rami Malek).
Huh. I was always under the impression that Hulu passed. I distinctly remember that time period it felt like every other day it was announced that something had passed up saving the show and it was devastating. First other networks, then Netflix, then Hulu. Even Crackle passed on it.
