This should be getting a lot more attention on here, it's quite good. It reminded me a lot of Gatherers last album, mutilator, maybe not as heavy, but goes in interesting directions. Come to find, the leader singer of Gatherers produced the music video for 47.

There's some B&C and Brand New influence too, for sure.

 

I listened to this after seeing it on your year end list @Yellowcard2006 and this is pretty sick. Definitely my kind of shit. I’m digging the unsettling vibe. I like how they hold back and are pretty reserved but kind of wished they opened up and let loose sometimes. I can hear some potentially epic climaxes and think they’d even be more powerful because they hold so much back.

New song is excellently written and well produced. This band is going to make waves, soon enough. Closer To didn't get the attention it deserved, but I expect that to change with their next album. There's DIAWB Microwave vibes on this track.
