Blackest Night is soooo good. Make sure to read the Green Lantern issues too as you go along! I used this reading order In what order do i read Blackest night? • /r/comicbooks
Loved Simone's portrayal of Bane. Definitely think him, Ragdoll and Catman were my favorites. Blackest Night was good and all but I'm one of the few that liked Brightest Day better. Check that out afterwards
Ugh, yeah this is the best Bane ever. I'm reading Knightfall too here and there and it's great the way Simone can stick so strongly to the original character while also making something so deep that's her own. Jeannette is also really amazing. Now I'm in Ostrander's issues and I'm really excited to see how they work together. I haven't really heard much about Brightest Day but I'll have to check it out since you speak so highly of it (and I'm digging the Lantern universe)
I don't remember much about BD but I just remember liking it more than BN for some reason, which is strange because sequels usually aren't.
Reading through the Zero Year arc of Snyder's Batman and I love Greg's art so much. It's so perfect for Batman.
Not sure how you all feel about newsletters, but David Harper has a pretty cool one on comics. The Crossover

Finished Snyder's Batman today which was pretty much perfect. Going to miss it. Started the current Dr Strange and it's wonderful so far.
I'll look into it! Currently reading Blackest Night and after getting through Flashpoint, reading more Geoff Johns seems like something I should do anyway haha.
Read all of Sex Criminals in under 24 hours, also Vol 1 of Saga and Vol 1 of Paper Girls (that's all there is so far though right?)
Just finished up Blackest Night and Blackest Night: Tales of the Corps. Also ended up reading the GL and GLC issues that went with the event. Tales of the Corps was okay, but the rest was extremely good. So many insane spreads just in the Blackest Night trade. Amazing art for sure. And loved the story.
