@Allpwrtoslaves, how does Bendis hate Hawkeye? I like the character a lot and really liked his role in Civil War II #3.

I looked at my wishlist yesterday and almost cried. I'm so far behind and so damn broke.

Just read Spiderman/Deadpool 6 and now I'm craving for a Scott Aukerman Deadpool series. i love his lame funny jokes and it would definitely fit well with Wade's personality.

Didn't Aukerman do something for death of Deadpool?

Greg Rucka's best work ever in the comic book industry might be upsetting Frank Cho enough to make Cho quit drawing Wonder Woman covers.

Cho is a sexist and hates getting called out for it.

I picked up Batman The Cult since I want to know more about Deacon Blackfire thanks to Eternal and the Arkham games. Also have Final Crisis which I will probably read today

I read the Dark Horse/DC Superman trade today that's due out next month I believe. Had Superman vs. Aliens, Superman vs. Aliens II: God War Superman/Madman Hullabaloo, and Superman/Tarzan: Sons of the Jungle.

Definitely an interesting group of stories. I'll probably be reviewing it next week. Now the only advance I need to get through is Batman/TMNT Vol. 1.

I exclusively read Marvel books through the app.

The only problem I have had with it is downloading comics to read offline. That hasn't worked for me in some time :/

But other than that, it is a blast. And I am slowly working my way through every X-Men comic ever haha.

Nice! I do the same. I've recently started Bendis' 2000 Ultimate Spider-Man run. Only a couple issues in, but I really love the app for ease of reading. I've never really needed the offline feature since my iPad is wi-fi only so I tend to not bother trying to use it offline haha.

I just started Vol 2 of the trades. So maybe about issue 10? You're way ahead of me haha but I plan on reading some today.

Yeah I've kinda just been reading in bigger chunks. Got to issue 40 last night. I have no clue what the trade orders are haha. But I've really been enjoying it so far!

On average, most trades are 6 issues long. So at issue 40, you should be knee deep into trade #7.

And Ultimate Spider-Man is magnificent. Probably the only thing by Bendis that I truly love without any reservations.

Oh yeah, I just wasn't sure if any of the trades went a little out of order. I know some trades will put together a handful of the random one-off stories sometimes, but this seems pretty consistent with 6 issue arcs.

    Oh, I see. Gotcha.

As far as I remember, it went pretty consistently in order. The only thing I can think of is the period of time when Spidey crossed paths with the Ult X-Men crew. And maybe the annuals? I am not sure where they ended up placing those in the trades.
    .
When I got rid of my single issues, I kept my Ultimate Spider-Man stuff. I have the single issues from around issue 16. Maybe one day I will try and complete the whole darn thing and seek out those first 15 issues.

Nice! This is one of those times I really love Marvel Unlimited. Just this run alone has basically been worth way more than the yearly price. While I do enjoying physical comics, I just don't have the space for them right now.

Physical comics are just untenable, in my opinion, unless you live in a pretty sizable house. But I live in an apartment, and my fiancee likes having places to, you know, store actual things we use haha.

I honestly wish that DC would follow suit and provide a service similar to Marvel Unlimited. At this point, it is my preferred way to read comics. I don't mind the wait and I appreciate being able to catch up on series I might have missed, or just reading complete runs to better understand history.

Yeah I've been waiting on DC to do the same. Right now I have a single shelf dedicated to comics and that's enough for now. I have quite the book collection so my shelves are at their max.

I also don't mind the wait, gives me time to dig into the longer series like Ultimate Spider-Man. I also recently went through the new Star Wars comics that are up on MU.
