I’m finding it hard to stay invested in most of these Dawn of X. I feel like the plots of most of the books are doing things, but they’re mostly waiting for whatever the next big story part of Hickman’s big plan to start.

The exception for myself being New Mutants, because they always feel like they’re off doing their own thing anyway and I love that team.

 

The new Gwen Stacy series by Christos Gage is awesome so far. All the bonus multi-verse Gwen stories at the end are a huge highlight.

I rarely rarely do this but I ended grabbing all the variants my LCS had. No regrets

 

Finished Locke & Key the show today and overall I enjoyed but feel like they could've done much more with it.

I'm still happy we finally have a L&K show though at all. I saw that the original pilot was leaked/released as well. Want to check that out now as well

Oh, wow, dang. Wonder how much this has to do with, or affects, those rumored big changes that were on the way.

I don't care enough about DC to have too many strong feelings on this, but Dick Grayson fans are probably really happy, lol.

if didio and lobdell are some of the most disliked, then Liefeld is right behind them, making his comment unnecessary and irrelevant.

the surprise to me is that it appears that this was very sudden, and im curious what initiated it.

 

When I told my wife, her immediate reaction was "were there assault allegations", which honestly was my first thought too and really crazy to think that that's even a reaction.

Really really hope it's nothing even remotely close to that

 

So Why Did Dan DiDio Leave DC Comics Anyway?

Haven't been reading Venom in single issues, but the Mark Bagley art & some of the talk around current & upcoming storylines made me dive into at least this arc.

This is kind of a neat premise. Could turn out dumb & pointless, but still, I like the idea. Would be into a Spider-Man equivalent, maybe Amazing Spider-Man Annual #1, the original Sinister Six story, so artists could have fun w/ his rogues gallery.
