Ughhhh. The reveal for that Marvel teaser leaked. I was so hoping for the return of Richard Rider :/ But i mean I guess it wouldn't made even remote sense in the context of Standoff so far. Not that the actual reveal does either.

 

What is it? Haven't seen it on any of the major sites.

 

Bleeding Cool reported that it's apparently that SHIELD agent Avril Kincaid who has been an odd focus point for some of Standoff, running around looking for something, and apparently it's the Quasar bands and she becomes the new Quasar.

 

Finished the latest Worst Xman Ever issue. Such a cool last panel. Wish it were longer than 5 issues though.

Gonna binge on Old Man Logan now.

 

I feel like most of us get our news from the same place and have seen it, but if you haven't, this is amazing.

There are like a half dozen I love this week, but I can't get them all 'cause I know there will be some I love every week, lol. I think I'm gonna get the Old Man Logan one this week. I'm not following the current series, but that's a sick cover.

I really, REALLY hope one of Aja's Scarlet Witch covers gets this treatment. Those covers have all been incredible.

 

What's this Standoff that just came out from Marvel?

Is International Iron Man any good?

Snyder and Capullo's final issue of Batman came out today.

 

After seeing the new trailer for the TV series coming out, I downloaded the first 4 issues of Outcast to see what it was all about. I'm lovin' it! I immediately ordered the first trade so I can finish the first few issues. Without giving any spoilers, how is the rest of the series? Is it worth it to get the other trades? I've never really been into many comics so I still consider myself a newb when it comes to this stuff, haha.

 

I bought the first trade when it came out and never read it. lol

 

Just finished Sunstone #2. I just want to give all of the characters the biggest hugs.

 

How is Sunstone? Been meaning to read it.

I have a copy of Daytripper and Seconds just hanging around the shelf. No idea which to read first.

 

i started reading low, and somewhat liked the first couple of issues. what happened in the first few pages of the third issue completely turned me off it and I won't be reading any more of it.

 

What turned you off? Is that the one where they introduce the son? He is a scumbag but all of that stuff doesn't last long and the story gets to be a really great redemption piece. I ended up loving everyone in the family. The mom in particular is the best.

You have to be kinda open minded going into Sunstone. There is a bit of nudity and light BDSM. The story is more about the actual relationships these girls have with each other and the real world. It is super relateable and adorable. You really get into the heads of these people. I'm loving it so much.

I haven't read Daytripper, but Seconds is a great, quick read. BLOM is the best. So pumped for Snotgirl.

 

Is Marvel Unlimited worth it? I'm considering it but it looks like it takes a while for stuff to get added

Certainly. It's six months for current books. But you have 70 years of back catalog to run through. It's amazing.

Yeah, that was a little fucked. Like I said though, everyone kinda gets their comeuppance. Terrible characters meet terrible ends. The end of the first trade is so brutal and awesome.

 

I mean it does seem like it's telling a good story, I love the setting and the art but I just don't want to go back after that. I kept reading another 6 or 7 pages but couldn't get that out of my head.
