You should wait, and then pick up the first volume of the "complete collection" version: Amazon.com: Spider-Girl: The Complete Collection Vol. 1 (9781302912482): Tom Defalco, Ron Frenz, Pat Olliffe, Paul Ryan: Books I'm assuming they'll release more of these volumes.

I've read part of it. Basically, it's an alternate reality where Peter is retired and has a teenage daughter who inherited his powers. The series follows her, telling stories with a style heavily inspired by classic Spider-Man. Based on how much you love Archie and that Kraven's Last Hunt collection, I could see it really clicking with your tastes.

 

Sweet. DeFalco's Reggie series is still a favorite of mine. Any other essential Defalco?

Apparently Kelly Sue Deconnick is doing a free workshop and signing this weekend at my LCS.

 

So I finished the first volume of Y: the Last Man in one sitting! I can't wait to borrow the next one.

 

I'm really loving the new Venom series. Also enjoyed Man of Steel by Bendis, but I've only read the first issue so far.

 

I started Animosity this week. It’s making me look twice at all the rabbits and squirrels I see on my morning runs haha.
