I never had heard about this before but saw a lot on my twitter this morning, im disgusted. I can't believe how open everyone seems to be about acknowledging Eddie Berganza as a sexual harasser while simultaneously giving him promotions. Fuck DC. ugh.

Has DC Comics Done Something Stupid Today?

 

I'd never heard a word of this but it's disheartening to me because i'm a big DC fan and don't hate what they're doing.

 

I saw an article about this previously anonymous sexual harasser once before, maybe last year when looking at something else? Anyways, yeah, that's crazy. I'd like to believe the pressure means maybe DC would consider letting Berganza go and replacing him with Bond (if that's a position she'd be interested in). With how rough the Superman properties have been recently, getting fresh blood in there would be additionally good, beyond the obvious removal of a freaking sexual harasser.

 

With how much I love the Bombshell series, I'm considering getting Stargirl and Supergirl on my leg.

 

I haven't read comics for a long time (since 2003 or so) and I don't have time to read through 30+ pages...but I like to suggest these comics every chance I get. Sorry if they're a repeat.

Almost bought a Magik statue from B&N today. Those prices hurt my head.

 

The Walking Dead: Alien was good.

 

Manhattan Projects is the best. Just read the cosmonaut story's ending and almost cried.

 

My InStockTrades order just came in. Looking forward to diving into the Snyder run from the beginning now.

 

I mean, cool, but the real big deal is BATMAN YEAR ONE. I adore that comic.

 

Yeah in addition to Snyder's run I have that, The Black Mirror, and The Return of Bruce Wayne to read. So I have my work cut out for me haha.

Should I read Year One first?

 

I don't read much Batman these days, lol, so my opinion is whatever. But yeah, it's about him becoming Batman and is excellent, so might as well. The art is incredible, and I love the focus on Gordon.

 

Will definitely do that then. I'll be doing a lot of catching up on comics I have and just haven't read for whatever dumb reason this next week.

 

You should have got the Year One that came with the movie!

Reading Rat Queens and Sunstone in the parking lot before the Murder by Death show because my friends are untimely folk.

 

I didn't realize that was a thing haha. Oops.

 

I'm picturing you just chilling outside your car in the parking lot, and a kid asking you what you're reading while reading Sunstone.
