Paper Girls continued to be fantastic in the third volume. Really enjoyed that arc and fascinated to see how the next one unfolds. Gonna be a long wait... Picked up God Country today too, gonna give that a read in a little bit.
I've finished all the miles morales available on marvel unlimited. I'm hooked. Spider Gwen hasn't no held me as much as I hoped I would.
Guys! Mister Miracle is so good! Love how King and Gerads can get away with what their pulling in the genre!
Seriously going to be something special! This feels like a puzzle in the best way and I can't wait to watch it unfold. I can't wait to talk about it.
i downloaded it first thing when i got up lol. gonna read it at lunch or when i should be working or something.
LOVED God Country. Such a touching story. That ending tore me up a bit. Wasn't expecting it to get so emotional.
DC Comics to Publish Harley Loves Joker Series Thoughts on this? I'll give anything Paul Dini is involved with a shot. I haven't been following along with Harley Quinn, though, so I'm missing out on those back up stories apparently haha.
I tried reading Omega Men again but it just doesn't stick. Its a bummer since I've loved King so far.
I was diving into a lot of his Detective run a little while back. Only stopped because I haven’t been hitting up the libraries as much lately haha. Any specific Dini stories you’d recommend?
Admittedly, I am not familiar with much more than his animated series work. I loved his Zatanna run. Harley and Ivy was fun. That's about all that I would say I remember offhand.
I need to grab that Zatanna trade. Too bad I’m still jobless and have forced myself to stop buying comics haha.
They're my new favorite team! Sheriff is so brutal and funny, and Gerads art makes King shine! The Talk Show segment was so amazing! It amazes me how poetic the comic really is. Especially at the talk show segment where they he's asked about actually escaping death. It's so wonderfully surrealistic and the rest of the comic has this almost foggy feeling. Like the scene where Orion just beats the shit out of Scott. It feels like such a dream/nightmare. Gerads does such a beautiful job with creating a stifling atmosphere, makes the reader feel as trapped as Scott! Ugh, so much to gush about! What did you think of the Oberon stuff?
i don't know what to make of the stuff with Oberon or what exactly is going on with Scott yet, but I'm along for the ride. Gonna reread it tonight and see if i pick up any other details/clues. Loved the scenes of Orion and Barda slapping him around as well. Can't wait to read more.
@Deanna Streets of Gotham is fantastic by Dini. Probably the best Two-Face story I've read. Also Gotham City Sirens is just great fun all around
I’ll have to see if streets of Gotham was one I had picked up before. And I agree on Sirens! I may have only read the first book of that though.
