I've only read the first two trades for Batman and Superman so far but the only one I enjoyed was the first Batman. I'll probably try Wonder Woman at some point but I'm still reading the New 52 WW.

 

I really loved Batman/Superman. Jae Lee is such an incredible artist. Stopped reading it when he left.

 

I meant Batman Rebirth and Superman Rebirth, ha. Now I have Batman/Superman on my list of things to check out though, ha.

 

If you aren't familiar with Jae Lee, you are in for a treat. Its beautiful.

 

My wife and I just found out we're having a baby girl this October. Any good comic-derived baby names?

I kind of like Fiona because of Fiona Staples, but I'm not sure. My wife and I have two other kids and we spent a few months trying to figure out names each time. We had plenty of boy names picked out(we wanted a boy named Archie), but girl names are harder.

Amazing. Next to Batman, it's the best Nu52 book, IMO.

Really hoping the coloring on that Bombshells book sticks to Sauvage's lighter tones. He art looks gorgeous with pastels and I'd hate to see it lose its luster given the tone of the book.

I forgot how much I love Bitch Planet. KSD is a gem.

 

Dark Days: The Forge was amazing and just made me so excited for Metal. Those two reveals at the end are both surprising and satisfying.

I'm super into the new creative team for Old Man Logan. Reminds me more of Millar's run.

Wonder Woman Epilogue was beautiful.

SS is doing a better job with Zod/Eradicator/Cyborg Superman than Action Comics is. It was great to see Waller actually take some responsibility for a moment or two.

Holy shit that was one of the best issues of Det Tec in recent memory. Highlight of the week, this story is killer. pu dewohs Z lrig ym taht yppah os osla The scene between Basil and Cassie was also perfect.

And Dark Forge is perfect, wow, this is going to be awesome.

I didn't get to the finale of Green Valley or the first issue of Kill the Minotaur today but I'm really excited for both.

 

Just had a moment of pure happiness when I remembered Capullo is coming back for Metal. The art was good in the Forge but still...It's Capullo

 

Started Peter David's Supergirl run. I was incredibly confused with who the fuck she even was. lol

 

CBR did an annotated Dark Days and I'm so confused by all of it.
