Appreciate it! I just tossed in the iTunes and Google Play subscribe links at the bottom, too. They're on every episode page, but figured it wouldn't hurt to have those in the doc.

 

Maybe put the Google Doc link (as something like "Welcome to Geekdom podcast comic book episodes"?) between the list of links and the comic book recs?

Was quite excited to get the press email for this earlier today. Unfortunately, they gave no info on it haha.

 

I've been kinda over Marvel as of late, but that title sounds right up my alley.

 

Like, come on, Marvel, you can't just have Kris Anka do a gorgeous Nico Minoru drawing with the word "run" in the Runaways font and then leave me hanging.

I imagine we'll get character posters every day this week, leading up to the full announcement?

With the Hulu series on the horizon, Marvel was always going to put some weight behind a runaways book. Hopefully it lives up to the original.

 

Dunno. I could see them getting as close to the classic Runaways roster as they can, since they have the Hulu adaptation on the horizon, but they'll have to add at least someone. I'd personally go with Cloak & Dagger, instead of giving them their own separate title.

Since the Power Man & Iron Fist series revived Alex Wilder as a villain, I imagine he'll be involved in some capacity here.

 

I stopped following that book and had no idea he was back. I'd definitely like to see the return of some characters. I wonder if we see Gert in some capacity.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if they found a way to bring her back, though maybe not right away. Maybe they'll organically build to a fully restored original roster (except Alex, who should remain a villain) by the time the Hulu series launches.

Monday is a higher traffic day, but Friday means it's up on the homepage for anyone that checks the site through the weekend. The GOTG one got more traffic from the stats. Logan had more comments maybe? I dunno.

 

If GOTG got more traffic, I'm all for doing Friday again. I saw fewer comments, but that could've been for a variety of reasons. Getting more eyes on the recs is definitely better.
