Superior Foes of Spider-Man. It's about villains, and I didn't know what to expect when I read it, but it ended up honestly becoming one of my absolute favorites. Think of it like, Oceans Eleven if it were Spider-Man villains and they were really bad at it haha.

Superior Foes of Spider-Man is required reading for all Spider-Man fans. Hilarious series.

I've heard nothing but great things about Superior Foes but I'm still not really interested in it. I'm sure I'll get around to trying it at some point.

 

Oh man. I can't talk enough about how much I loved it. Such great writing.

 

lol. Spencer is a butt head, but I can't stop adoring the spidery perfection that is Superior Foes. One of the best things about Chip writing Spectacular Spider-Man is that I'll have comedic gold set in Spidey's world again; I really hope he uses Boomerang and company at some point.

 

It'll be great to have that again, for sure. I'm glad that Spider-Woman had gone that route. It really grounded the spider stories a bit.

Finishing up I Am Bane! Then I'm gonna go through all of The Flash Rebirth so I can start The Button.

 

The Button is very much standalone.

 

I haven't read any batman or flash Rebirth and The Button makes perfect sense to me!

 

Got the free comics I wanted on Saturday. Went to a cool store in Berkeley CA while I was there visiting a friend. I also picked up Vol 1 of Deathstroke Rebirth, really excited to read that.

 

Oh nice. I still might pick up Vol 1 of The Flash and check it out. I've really enjoyed Joshua's Image books.

 

I want to check out Birthright.

 

The first Flash trade is fantastic. Really enjoyed it.

Definitely worth checking out. I read the first trade and bought the next three immediately after.

 

Do it. It takes a few issues to get going but once it does it gets really good. Andrei Bressen's art is really good.

I'm glad to hear you actually enjoyed this. Most seem to hate both of his Batman The Dark Knight series. I'm a big fan of Finch's art and quite enjoyed his Batman stories he wrote.
