That was totally my thought with it. I kept waiting for it to get good, or for something to happen, and it just never did.
Definitely sounds like the easiest solution. I started one for my books as well but that one will take a lot longer to type up hah.
The wife hates that I'm reading these in bed ha, these lights on aren't going to work. Seriously considering purchasing future comics on the iPad. I know I asked earlier and most people said they buy physical copies, but does anyone read these digitally?
I do a mix. Digital is really convenient, and my iPad + Comixology makes it so wonderful. Some comics I just want the physical copy of -mainly Image books that I love, like Deadly Class and Saga.
I've seen or heard this sentiment so many times, I'm going to have to take the recommendation. I normally don't go for non-hero graphic novels or comics (maybe aside from Blankets), but this may add to that list, so thank you!
I do, probably alot more now actually because they are cheaper if you wait a few months. The panel view reading is nice. I believe it was confirmed that we will be. I was concerned about it too because Snyder is DC Exclusive now, but it sounds like that won't affect his indie books.
@Henry Yeah I know i saw an article about it basically confirming it was coming just not sure when exactly.
I have Batman Vol. 1 The Court of Owls coming today. Now I just need 2-7 hah. Also should have a review of Cyborg Vol. 1 Unplugged up today.
I read the Superheavy arc last week since I had a review copy. Been meaning to get to it from the beginning so I figured I'd grab it with an Amazon gift card I had.
If this is your first read-through, you are in for a serious treat. Word of advice, definitely buy City of Owls asap. You're going to want to roll right into after finishing.
Yeah. I would almost say the first three trades should be read straight through. The arc after that is basically its own thing. The only one that kinda felt like a dud was the sixth trade. Wasn't into it much at all.
Read Low if you get a chance. It's another Sci-Fi book from Remender that is really gorgeous. A lot of people love Tokyo Ghost too but it isn't my cup of tea.
I'm hoping to get the others soon. Between jobs though so I'm trying not to drop a bunch of money to complete it right away. I do have some other comics I could just read in the meantime until I can get the rest so there's that at least.
I actually forgot all about the issues in volume 6. That's the only one I don't own. Not really a fan of that "arc."
Only the second one I've reviewed, but my Cyborg review can be found here. Writing these is definitely a lot different than doing album reviews as I'm used to. Hoping to improve on it some more.
