I'd want to reread it before I wrote anything up about it. I just do not have the time to do it right now. I'm not sure when I'll get time prior to the second week of May. I just don't want to commit to something I'll likely blow off until school is over.

 

@Tim You are right, Abnett and Lanning's run looks like something I'll really like. You can put me down for that.

 

Never was big into comics, but my job was getting ready to toss a box full of some graphic novels so I snagged some:

Batman: The Dark Knight - Knight Terrors
Batwoman: To Drown the World
Batman: Bruce Wayne, Murderer?
Batman: Under the Red Hood

Hopefully these are some good ones! There were a few more Batman and Justice League ones, maybe I'll go back tomorrow morning and take a few more.

 

Under the Red Hood is my favorite batman story, one of my favorite comics. Batwoman is also great and Knight Terrors is pretty fun. I don't remember much about Bruce Wayne Murderer. If it's New 52 Justice League than the ones to look out for are the two Darkseid War trades and Throne of Atlantis.

 

Yeah Red Hood was one of my favorite batman animated movies so I had to grab that one. I'll keep an eye out tomorrow for Darkseid and ToA. Thanks!

 

The animated movie is great and the comic goes so much more in depth. It's also sort of related to Hush, which you should just read anyway because it's the best, ha.

The Red Hood V Joker V Batman scene is one of my favorite scenes of anything ever.

 

Besides the faultless perfection that is Year One, my favorite Batman story is probably Hush. Though, I haven't read it in years.

 

Is there a reading order for Hush? I recently read Batman: Streets of Gotham Leviathan and noticed the trade before that is Hush Money. I've yet to read both, mainly because Hush is on my comixology account that I always forget to actually read things on.

I was just getting ready to edit into the post that you need to read The Heart of Hush in between.

 

The Long Halloween is definitely my all-time favorite Batman story. It would be RIP but that relies so much on the rest of Morrison's run that it doesn't stand alone at all.

 

Oh, duh. I bought that, too. Hahah I really need to organize my shelf soon. Recent purchases from my LCS closing are just in stacks right now.

 

I feel ya, been like a month since I've been organized, I have way too many floppies, haha.

 

All of my read floppies are being stored in the funko collectors boxes currently. So I just need to get through the rest so I can have more shelf space. Also my friend has like 10 of my trades so I was kind of waiting to get those back before organizing everything nana.

 

I just got a box this week to put my read-but-not-yet-organized comics in 'cause my random comics and bags sitting in mini-piles on my long boxes got obnoxious, lol.

 

Finished book one of y the last man. Loved it. Currently reading book two and have the remaining 3 books waiting. @Deanna I see Welcome to Geekdom's latest episode is about that so I will definitely give that a listen when I'm finished the books.

Finally finished the first Gotham Central trade yesterday. If only the show were that interesting.

 

I really need to pick this up. I've heard good things about it. But I'm going to be reading The Flash by Mark Said Book 1 before I get to anything else. Mainly because I have an iFanboy podcast episode about it sitting in Overcast.

 

That Batgirl is amazing.

 

Just read volume 4 of Black Science and thought it was incredible. Easily the best volume so far in a series I was already loving.

 

Mark Waid is at WonderCon so I think I'm gonna try to get some trades signed tomorrow or Sunday.

 

Volume 5 and 6 (ongoing) get so ridiculous. Its insane how many directions this series goes in.
