Looking at the WonderCon schedule and wondering how anyone decides what to do and when at this thing.
I just read the last issue to Nailbiter. Really, really good conclusion, I think the people trade waiting are going to be very happy. I have one complaint though I'll keep quiet until more people in this thread read it. Also, it completely finishes the story but the back cover says "The End?" So I suppose we can take that as we will. Also just realized this is the last comic to end from when I started reading comics which is now over a year ago. Hack/Slash, Snyder's Batman, Ennis' Punisher, Locke and Key...I'd also say I'm incredibly satisfied with each of those endings.
man i remember waiting for single issues for the end of Locke and Key. with all the delays there at the end i was worried it was going to be bad. i was so satisfied with that last issue. Joe and Gabe nailed it. I've only read the first two trades of Nailbiter but want to read more. I'll get around to it eventually.
I think I started reading during the Omega arc, so by the time I was caught up the final trade was out, worked out perfect, ha, definitely would have been tough waiting. I also did not know about the delays. I'm really big on endings, so if they're not good or ever actually happen I'm pretty disappointed, but I couldn't be more satisfied with L&K's ending. Hack/Slash was also surprisingly perfect for a series that didn't primarily focus on strong continuity.
yeah throughout Alpha and Omega there were a couple-three months between a few issues. I dont know much about H/S but I'll put it on my list of things to check out. I trust your judgement.
Does you how much you know Does that mean I've moved down your list? Unfortunately I've let y'all down because I haven't finished any of those yet :(
Also, my LCS opened back up for today only to get rid of some more stuff. Got JLA: Ultramarine Corps, Bizarro, Arkham Manor, and Batman: Life After Death all for 50% off and no sales tax. And now maybe I'll actually save money and stop buying comics for a while.
Why no Sales Tax? Also, I lived Arkham Manor and hoped that Duggan didn't go Marvel Exclusive so he could write more DC stories
He was just taking cash and not using his register. Only reason really haha. I almost didn't get it but figured what the heck. Hard to say no to half off on trades haha.
Surprisingly yes, is actually a HUGE deal and Way more complicated than you'd think. I'm part of an Organization for Sales Tax people specifically in the Restaurant industry as well.
Liking me at all is your worst opinion, but your affection towards sales tax makes up for that. (I kinda like you, too.)
To be fair, I'm not nearly as nerdy about it or know nearly as much as alot of other people I know in the industry
