That final issue is so perfect. One of the few stories that stuck the landing, IMO.

 

It was great for sure. Very stoked to podcast about it and impatiently waiting for my friend to tell me when he can record.

 

The end of New 52 Wonder Woman had a pretty cool concept and it just kinda ended abruptly. So strange.

 

Thanks to anyone who listened to the podcast! I was with my nephews all day but listened to the episode to and from my brother's house, and it actually wasn't as hard listening to my voice as I expected, lol. Definitely looking forward to the next time I get to join @Deanna for some nerdy talk that people will weirdly listen to on purpose.

@dadbolt, are you gonna be back for more episodes? I was thinking that it'd be super fun to start sneaking disses into our episodes 'cause why not? lulz.

I read Whatever Happened To the Man of Tomorrow yesterday. Pretty good read. If Goodreads allowed for adding .5 stars I would've given it a 3.5, but went with a 3 until they implement that. If they ever do lol.

And I'm not! I've been bad at keeping up with stuff the last couple weeks and my LCS is now closed. I'll probably trade wait on it since I did like the first issue.

 

oh john tyler christopher was at my lcs a few weeks ago for their 30th anniversary so i got to meet him. super nice guy. he did this variant of champions #1 that i bought from him, i'm obsessed with it.

those are all fairly new and not a whole lot of issues deep.

 

I mostly read Marvel, but I've been loving Superman. The first arc of Detective Comics was really good, too. Green Lanterns has been inconsistent but could be worth checking out just 'cause the character of Jessica Cruz is super cool.

But, yeah, I'd be more helpful with Marvel recs, lol.
