Following up The Misfits with last week's Hawkeye #1, which is excellent. Like, if you don't read this and like comics, shame on you. That's two good Kelly Thompson #1s for me in one night. Give her all the books (with all the good artists) for all the wins.
I forget, have you read Matt Fraction's Hawkeye run? If not, it should totally become a top priority for you.
Locke and Key Small World was great. Sounds like they've mapped out a plan for a six book, 37 issue cycle called World War Key, so that's super exciting.
Where did you see this? That's awesome! Also I thought that originally a lot of the volumes of L&K were supposed to be OGNs
There's an interview on the last page of Small World with a bunch of information in there. Sounds like in the mean time there will be more one shots like Small World that will make up Book 7. They don't have a time frame or anything.
oh man i would love to be reading that book for the first time again one of the most frustrating release schedules too.
Southern pulp. An old man comes back to his hometown which is ran by terrible people. He has a bat. That's all you need to know!
It really boils down to Jason Aaron being a very busy man. There have been 3-5 month waits between issues in the middle of an arc. Not trying to be all entitled about it. I know the creators are spinnimg a lot of plates/don't owe me anything. It's just a book i love and trade waiting isn't something i would want to do in this case haha
