I'm through the Wrath of the First Lantern so it appears I've read all of Geoff Johns Green Lantern work. What an absolutely incredible saga. I'm going to keep reading the 4 GL runs in the new 52 but they already feel weaker without Johns influence.
I've been reading Killing and Dying on and off. Just finished Go Owls. Man, Tomine is really something else. First time in a long time something has inspired me to get up and do something cool with my life. The stories are so simple, but elegantly written. I love the way he handles scene changes without using captions and I love a whole lot of other things he does with his work. I'm so happy I got into comic books despite being late to the party. What Archie comics are you reading?
Yes. It's amazing. Hit me so hard with all the right feels. I cried but I'll deny it if you tell anyone else.
I read all issues of Archie(1-14), Betty & Veronica #1, and Jughead #1 and #10 I believe. The B&V and Jug issues were included in the back of the Archie Graphic novels
I recommend I think around Jughead 7, 8, or 9 Sabrina is introduced and the issues with her have been great so far. I need to catch up on the main Archie line, read an interview about the whole Team Betty vs Team Veronia thing. excited to read it.
Checking my list, I have: Archie 1-14 Betty vs Veronica 1-2 Jughead 9 (the one with Sabrina?) Josie and the Pussycats 1-2 Not sure if I'd continue the last two. Archie and BvV is fantastic imo. How's Jughead? IIRC a new Betty and Veronica title is going to be releasing as well. Writer will be Rachel Antonoff. Embarrassed to admit I only know her because I'm huge on fun and Bleachers.
Should also mention that Archie keeps on changing artists. Picked it up because of Fiona since she did 1-3, and just as I was warming up to Veronica Fish she suddenly gets taken off the project. I'm not really sure what happened there. But Waid's writing is good.
ah man, I didn't know the art kept changing. I know it happens but it bums me out mid story arc with a writer.
Yeah the Betty vs Veronica stuff wasn't my favorite but it was alright. After reading Jughead #10 I had no idea what was going on because it seemed like Sabrina was already established in that book beforehand. Definitely plan to read it from the beginning though.
@Colby Searcy he did the last two right? I thought it was good. Jughead 9 was advertised as sort of a reboot and Sabrina's first appearance. EDIT: meh didnt notice it was already mentioned haha

Oh man, it was so fucking cool to see that that The God Butcher still haunts Odinson. Love that Jason Aaron has been in charge of Thor for so long that elements like Gorr and The League of Realms come back feeling like Hickman level narrative build-up.
Picked up: Unworthy Thor Avengers Doctor Aphra Nailbiter Clone Conspiracy Violent Love Motor Crush Still have some books from last week I haven't touched yet. I'm bad at this.
I'm really digging Clone Conspiracy. The one element of the end of this issue I totally saw coming, as I assume most Spidey fans did (you can't bring back dead people without addressing the ability to restore Uncle Ben), but the other aspect? Not at all. I'm excited for Ben Reilly to inevitably put on his classic Scarlet Spider outfit, especially with this comic's fantastic Jim Cheung art. Though, part of me also wouldn't be mad if he wore his Spider-Man outfit instead.
Also, my shop didn't have Motor Crush #1. :( But, I think it's supposed to get copies in later and didn't for reasons out of their control.
Didn't see the second part coming at all. Actually a decent twist that I didn't see coming, and yet still makes total sense in that kind of "well, I guess it was kinda obvious that this would get brought up" way.
