ICEMAN Creative Team Talks the X-MEN Hero’s First Ongoing Series and Coming Out | Nerdist Sina Grace is someone I've imagined tackling Iceman (or X-Men in general) for a little while, so I'm really excited that he's this title's writer. Plus, Kevin Wada is exactly who I wanted to do Iceman's covers. After the mediocrity of yesterday, this is exactly what I needed for restored hope in ResurrXion. Gold, Blue, and Iceman down; Generation X, Weapon X, Jean Grey, and Cable to go.
They stated that those will be the ONLY X-books right? Like Old Man Logan and All-New Wolverine are going to end up cancelled? Cuz I like them both fairly much.
I think they've been vague, but it seems like the plan is to end all current X-titles and replace them with these. So, OML and/or ANW would essentially become Weapon X. Though, adding more might not be out of the question. If Weapon X is THE Wolverine title going forward, I'd assume OML and Laura are in that series (especially since the Logan film features an older Logan with Laura). I could then see Gabby ending up in either Weapon X or Generation X.
EXCLUSIVE: Generation X Creative Team, Roster Revealed I'm torn because this series looks really good, but the premise and roster choices make the X-Men: Gold series look even more like a garbage waste of potential.
Well, it's not perfect. But I mean, Jubilee and Quentin Quire were two of my top choices. And Benjamin Deeds from Cyke's team too! And they do mention to expect plenty of guest spots from ex-students like Chamber, Husk, Dani Moonstar, and Magik. So I'm betting that this is our only book with a chance of seeing Pixie, Rockslide, and pretty much all the old students from when they were on Utopia. Since Extraordinary started the only students that seem to exist are Glob, Anole, and No-Girl.
Oh man, Al Ewing is SUCH a tease. The last issue of his New Avengers run came out today, and it features an entire New Mutants team cameo, WITH an actual mention about a reunion of the team. And then later in the issue, freaking Wiccan and Hulkling mention a possible Young Avengers reunion too! Ughhhhhh Ewing you know so damn badly what we want, just make Marvel give it to us. Hopefully both reunions are actually in the pipeline.
Review: A.D. After Death #1 Combines Epic Ideas with a Personal Scope anyone else pick this one up? I love the large magazine size of it. really looking forward to books 2 and 3.
I picked it up, but haven't read it yet. I saw how wordy it was, and decided to hold off because I was trying to get through a lot of books quick. lol
Picked up Vol 2 of Papergirls, going to try to keep up with new issues now. Batman annual should be fun. Really excited to read new issues of Saga and 72E
I just read and reviewed this today. Really enjoyed it. Never really seen anything like it so it was a refreshing read.
Paul Dini has a wonderful Harley Quinn story in the Batman Annual. Oddly enough Snyder's felt like the weakest.
Civil War II #8 will have a ton of guest artists for seemingly roughly a page each. A series of visions, perhaps? Cool that Esad Ribic is one of them. Civil War II #8 Adds Artists Esad Ribic, Leinil Yu, Adam Kubert, Alan Davis, Mark Bagley, Marco Rudy and Daniel Acuna - Bleeding Cool Comic Book, Movie, TV News
What are you, Marvel Comics!? LOL. (I actually think people who claim Marvel doesn't care about the X-Men are dumb, tbh, but still, lol.)
Bruh, they're purposely excluding X-Men characters and (likely) Dr Doom for Marvel Vs Capcom 4. The series STARTED with only X-men. Wolverine, Magneto, Sentinel, are absolute staples of the fighting franchise. There was Cyclops, Cable, Gambit, Storm, Phoenix, Colossus, Iceman, Omega Red, Psylocke, Rogue, and Sabretooth. And now only MCU focused characters, I get synergy but come on, this roster is legendary
Here's a list of stuff being added to Marvel Unlimited this month: Marvel Unlimited December Additions Any suggestions on there of what to check out? I've been reading the Star Wars stuff and started Vision. That's about it so far.
How has anyone confirmed this if the game hasn't even been formally announced? I can understand why people are speculating it being MCU characters, but most reports seem unfounded.
No, but Capcom is being weirdly quiet about the teasers. And several more trusted sources in the industry have started reporting that they've heard about it now. EDIT: although I would love for them to be wrong about the MCU part, but that was already creeping in in MvC3. They weren't super anti X-men back then, but they threw in: Thor, Doctor Strange, Rocket Raccoon, Hawkeye, Ghost Rider, Iron Fist, etc. they knew what their movie plans were and planned accordingly. Why the hell else would you force in Thor, who is SO GOD AWFUL.
That's fair. It'll be interesting to see which characters they do choose. I think we definitely get the core Avengers, Drax, Rocket, Spidey, Squirrel Girl, Thanos, Iron Fist, maybe Spider-Gwen, Falcon. It's hard to fill out a roster without X-Men. Hahah.
I mean, licensing =/= comics. People claim left and right that Marvel is treating the X-Men and Fantastic Four a certain way in their comics due to movie rights, but the evidence points to that being complete and utter nonsense. As does basic logic. Licensing is more complicated. They're clearly avoiding Fox-owned characters a lot in that department, but there are weird exceptions here and there, so who knows what's actually going on there. But again, not comics.
