Alright cool. Thanks for letting me know how it's working. Think I'll pull the trigger on their current deal for $60/1 year.
I went yearly as well but I think it was around $70 for mine. Still completely worth it even if you only read a handful a month. I tend to binge read sporadically though.
Yeah. I definitely tend to binge read over anything super consistent. I'm in a binging mood right now, so it's perfect to sign up. I will say I prefer physical books, but I've been buying too much lately and not all of what I bought will likely be read again. Also, trying to trim the fat on my monthly budget as I look to buy a car.
Have this 24x36 poster framed hanging on my wall, next to a David Lopez Captain Marvel poster and an Alex Ross New Mutants poster.
It's worked fine for me when I subscribed. It's actually the reason why I caught up a lot in Marvel. But now i'm behind again. Only means more for me when I do subscribe again.
Understandable, I prefer physical as well but this was way more cost efficient and I have no more space on my bookshelves for anything.
Preludes and Vengeance so far. Also ordered When in Rome, which looks to be out of stock. Might be waiting a minute on this order.
I got the Unlimited deal as well there last week and I've pretty much read enough to say it was worth. Loading can be iffy but yeah close and reopen. Unlimited plus the new night shift for ios makes bedtime reading brilliant, it's also great for commuting.
I'll post some recs for you guys using the app. There are a lot of books on there worth checking out for sure. older stuff: Runaways Lockjaw and the Pet Avengers Daredevil Yellow Spider-Man Blue Ultimate Spider-Man (Peter's arc starts out really strong, and Miles is great later on) House of M Recent stuff: Thor Unbeatable Squirrel Girl (make sure you read the bottom of every page) Hawkeye Howard the Duck Superior Foes of Spider-Man
I just caught up with all of Miles run. It's really great. Divided we fall / United we stand is a weird event though. idk if this would be a spoiler but I'd love a small run about Miles' father. that was fun
I look at the comments whenever I need a good laugh. It's usually the same three guys arguing with each other. I mostly just steal the news and post it here. lol
Yeah sites like CBR/IGN/Comicbook.com I tend to only read the article and not look at the comments, i know better than that by now haha.
ComicVine is also kind of annoying with their reviews because I feel like they give everything five stars. Like four stars to them was just average.
I only listen to Talking Comics now, but was listening to iFanboy too previously. Just had to cut down. Talking Comics episodes can get pretty long though.
