As weird as it sounds, the Archie horror comics were awesome. Afterlife with Archie, and the Sabrina one.

Haven't read either wasn't sure if they were Horror or not. Heard great things about both though!

I need to get Afterlife With Archie eventually, just for that Francavilla art.

Some great suggestions that I haven't read yet. I'm a big fan of Wytches, American Vampire, just picked up Scott Snyder's Severed. I've heard great things about Afterlife With Archie and Sabrina. I really like what I've read of Walking Dead but I'm also a bit burnt out on zombies. Been reading through Hellblazer comics as well. I know I've read some other awesome horror but I'm blanking right now

I've never read it, but I've heard that Through the Woods by Emily Carroll is excellent.

Going to read Kingdom Come this week and attempt to get @Jason Tate to come on my new podcast to geek out about it.

I'm starting volume three right now, I can't handle that cliffhanger.

There are a few more cliffhangers headed your way that you won't be able to handle haha (at least, if my reactions are in any way a gauge for your reactions.)

Oh man, you'll love the ending, probably a good idea to go back through, Hill was masterfully crafting his climax from the start, its wonderful to see the way all the threads play out.

No I haven't though it has been on my to read list for awhile. I did read the entire run of Grayson by Seeley and didn't enjoy most of it. Wondering if he just needs horror to shine. In all fairness to Grayson, I don't like espionage so I probably wouldn't have liked it anyway, I only read that for Helena's back story.

Everything @Colby Searcy said is great. I'd also add Hellraiser and Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on a Serious Earth, which is amazing.

Lol, thankfully I've gotten a little bit use to Morrison by now but yeah, for sure, I read some people's thoughts on it after reading it and I kept thinking, "When the fuck did that happen?" From a purely visceral standpoint, it's terrifying.

Got a lot of books today, but so far only had time for Jessica Jones and Paper Girls.

I'm surprised Bendis is allowed to say "shit" and "god damn" in Jessica Jones. I know it says "parental advisory" on the cover, but do they normally allow that outside of MAX? Seems like the line drawn here is the same as for Marvel's Netflix series, which I suppose makes sense. Anyways, I loved it. I have no idea where this story is gonna go, but I'm all in for this ride. Fans of Alias HAVE to read it.

Paper Girls continues to be weird and cool. I love what BKV is doing with time travel mystery here. I think I already know roughly what's gonna happen with the hockey stick, and I like it. This is my favorite creator-owned title right now.

Every curse word has been censored in The Punisher despite the over the top violence. They might have pulled of a goddamn but no shits. It's been a "hot topic" in the readers letters section, haha. Glad to hear JJ's good, got it sitting next to me right now just waiting for things to cool down at work.

Saw a dude pick up Kingdom Come at the bookstore the other day and told him he better buy it. Lol

Ha, that's funny that it's been a point of contention in that series. I think it's neat that they let it slide here, but I don't think it being censored would have had any impact on my enjoyment of the book. Always cool to have more to work with, though, as long as it's not abused (which I think Bendis admits initially was the case for Alias, lol). Maybe Bendis took Alias, the Netflix series, and all his pull at Marvel, and used it to successfully plead his case.

JJ felt just like Alias, I loved it.

Walking Dead was good but it felt like the weakest since they started the Whisper War. I noticed on the "Previously on" they mixed up a long dead character's name with someone else, kind of insane no editor picked up on that.

Huh. That wasn't how I expected Jessica Jones #1 to go. I really did like it, but I really hope there is a good long game plan for this story and they didn't just do it to give the character a semi-reboot. Super interesting about the case shes working on though. Wonder if it's just the beginning of something much larger.

Champions #1 was a great start, the core trio of Ms. Marvel, Spider-Man, and Nova works really well, glad they are sticking together. However holy fuck Humberto's art is still so goddamn bad. I hate this style so much.

Death of X #1 wasn't anything to surprising, it's pretty much what we already knew/thought happened. However it was great just to see Cyclops, Emma Frost and the Cuckoos again. Interesting that they mentioned that Goldballs seemed to have been exposed, but he's fine 8 months later over in Spider-Man. It's also got me wondering about where all the rest of the New Xavier School students are, aside from Triage who seems to float between the Uncanny and Extraordinary team.

Invincible Iron Man #14 pissed me off. Am I missing something, or did they not show where the hell Doom teleported Stark too? I guess we'll find out in either Civil War or Infamous? Didn't really like the beginning to this new All-New Wolverine story either, hope it gets better. Doctor Strange is still doing very entertaining stuff tho.

Over in DC, the Batman books Monster Men story is decently entertaining mindless crossover that people probably won't remember in the long run, but it's a decent filler arc. Green Arrow, Superman, Aquaman, Lanterns all still going strong. Long live Rebirth!

@Allpwrtoslaves, I didn't add Champions to my pull for that exact reason! lol. I think this series will be a better fit than some for the... let's say "quirks" in his art style. I picked up the first issue (still need to read it) out of curiosity and will catch up down the line, but, like, couldn't they use almost anyone else? Maybe I'll feel better after actually reading it; maybe not, lol.

And, I really hope that Emma Frost doesn't die in Death of X. I know that comic book death is temporary and that either way she's not currently in use, but man, I love that character. Throw her in like the Avengers or something! Anyways, I'll be interested in reading Death of X and Inhuman/X-Men War after they wrap up. As much as people are unhappy with how Marvel pushes Inhumans these days, I think this conflict has a lot of potential.

What I did read so far is Shade the Changing Girl. Wow, Marley Zarcone's art in this series is absolutely fabulous. I can't praise it enough. This is such a trippy and intriguing and fun series that everyone should at least check out.

Now to read a bunch more comics, instead of rambling all night on here about comics instead!
