There was a buy one get one sale on used trades and I bought five volumes of Birds of Prey. So I hope that series is good.

Oh great. Amanda Conner forever. lol

There are a lot of creative teams on here I've never even heard of. Gonna be reluctant on most of this stuff.

I'm gonna pull 2-3 books between Batgirl, Batgirl and the Birds of Prey, New Super-Man, and Trinity.

The Batgirl creative team change seems to confirm that they'll be announcing a series at Image Expo. If so, I'm obviously pulling that. Babs Tarr .

Awkward that Batgirl's new artist is the person who did that Joker variant cover, but the writer coming up from indie work seems exciting. I'll have to check out something of hers before that series starts.

Read JLA: A League of One today, where Wonder Woman incapacitates the rest of the Justice League to protect them from a prophesy about a dragon, and then singlehandedly defeats said dragon. Also reminisced about Wonder Woman: Hiketeia, where she beat up Batman to protect a woman on the run.

Remember, kids, when asked if Batman can beat Superman, that Wonder Woman is the true winner. Always.

Love the amount of female writers for Rebirth even if it is only for female characters.

Love that Snyder and Conner are exclusive.

@Tim did it say whether Snyder would be able to do indies as well? I'm just confused because 1) Wytches is great 2) He essentially was already DC exclusive.

I really need the second volume of Wytches. So weird that a film got greenlit so quickly. With Brad Pitt, no less.

    beautiful and chequered, the end

Picked up a bunch of trade paper backs of Wolfman's and Perez's Teen Titans. Its absolutely amazing how well this comic holds up. No wonder this is considered one of the best comic runs of all time. I've never noticed how long a run wolfman had, does anyone who has read it all know it continues this level quality all through out it? or does it eventually drop off?

I have the first 2 trades but haven't read 'em yet. Also have the first trade of 80s Suicide Squad, which I've read and also holds up quite well.

Of past eras of comics, the 80s are definitely my favorite.

Uh, forgive me, @Henry, but, um, I read the first Gail Simone Batgirl trade and wasn't, uh, that into it.

Some good Barbara dialogue, and I liked Alysia as a character, but something totally just didn't click for me.

Her run is kinda the total opposite of the newest run. It's so weird how different they are, but both make sense given the character's background. I think, in all, I was a bigger fan of the later stuff in Simone's run. The stuff with her family just hits hard.
