I was listen to this weeks CBB in a crowded elevator and it took all my power to not burst out at Gemberling yelling at his great grandma to lay on the tarp so he could clean her shit.

I just noticed flights are super super cheap right now and I'm trying so hard not to book a last minute trip to the last Meltdown.

  3. last monday I was listening during jury duty and they dont let you drink coffee in the main waiting room so I went into the little break room where they let you drink and right as i sat down in this crowded ass room they started talking about vaginas and fucking. my earbuds were up rly high too. no idea if anyone could hear

Podcasts were always 10x funnier to me when I was on the subway or bus or eating alone somewhere and couldn't laugh.

Sometimes at work I have to pretend like I'm about to yawn so I can cover my mouth with my hand while I try not to laugh

They're have been times when I was overcome with laughter while driving by myself that I nearly lost control of my car. Most notably Brett Gelman reading iBrain on CBB and a time when Patton Oswaldt was on DLM and they were talking about Ron Perlman and Patton remarked that "he cums chili"

The first Dalton Wilcox appearance and the ensuing mass suicide in Andy Daly characters had me weeping on the Red Line and I probably looked the craziest I've ever looked

I listened to that episode laying on the bench of a pontoon boat in a lake very drunk by myself and I am genuinely shocked I wasn't arrested/committed.

Better than his last hour? His tour isn't coming out here either.

Hannibal is one of my favorite comedians, but Comedy Camisado was a bit lackluster. I forget who said it, but it was almost like he got too comfortable for it. Hope he bounces back. Love seeing him live. I was there for the Cosby show!

Same. Part of the reason why I wanted to see him again. He has so much great material so I refuse to let CC skew my opinion.

Yeah I saw him on that tour and I was kind of disappointed how the special turned out, it seemed like he left a lot of the best material from when I saw him out and added some new stuff that wasn't great. I also saw him before the Cosby thing got huge and he did that bit lol

  14. Yeah I probably saw him just a few days before that "famed" Philly date or whatever and he was doing that bit
Hard to say. There's likely recency bias involved and I also never actually watched Comedy Camisado, just saw him touring that material beforehand which @tdlyon is saying was maybe better than what actually ended up being in the special.

So I can remember laughing a helluva lot back in late '14 and also last weekend but I do think that maybe the new stuff is better idk idk

  15. Alright, so...where do I start with Comedy Bang Bang? Just finished the TV series (or at least what's on Netflix) and I'm sick of being left out of the jokes in here haha.

Unfortunately, there's only 10 episodes left :concerned:

I assume you're talking about the podcast. I started at the beginning. It's taken me a looong time and I'm only at episode 150, but that's also because I only listen to it when I'm caught up on my other podcasts and music and have free listening time. I'm glad I started at the beginning though, because there's been so much good stuff throughout that I wouldn't have wanted to miss.

I saw Comedy Camisado live and the best bits seemed to be cut out of the special. He had a great recurring bit about that Iggy Azalea song with a sound effect and it was all cut out probably to not pay for the rights, but it was so good.

  20. I figured this might be the best way to go through it, just wasn't sure if I'd miss anything by jumping in based on guest appearances haha. From the beginning it is!

I tried to start CBB from the beginning but theres a lot of clunkers. Find guests you like and listen to their episodes. Kroll, Adomian, Seth Morris, Harris, Andy Daly, PFT, Jon Daly

The end of the year best of's are also a great way to hear classic segments with Scott and PFT commentary

@OhTheWater isn't wrong, but I wouldn't call anything in particular a "clunker" - There are definitely episodes that are stronger than others, and you won't really miss too much if you skip around and just listen to certain guests, but personally I've enjoyed every episode to varying degrees and maybe it's just the completest in me, but I'm glad I've listened from the beginning.
