Decided to try out High and Mighty. Went to download episodes that seemed like they'd be good and ended up with like 20 lol. Anyone listen/have any favorites?

 

I enjoy it sometimes. The Patrick Walsh/Vegas episode was really good and interesting. Related- the Gambling one with Sean Clements and Dominic Dierkes was good. I don't even gamble or anything they just get into it a lot so it's fun to listen to them discuss it.


That "number one fuck boi" intro is hard to get passed if you listen without headphones in earshot of others haha

 

Rogan's new special is out on Netflix later this month.

Bill Burr is filming his around the same time.

 

Comics with Hayes Davenport, General Tso's, the conspiracy theory episodes with Anthony Atamanuik. As a former swimmer, the Swimming episode with Anders Holm made me geek out. High & Mighty is definitely not a show that I could listen to every week, though.

I like it quite a bit, but be aware, it is far from politically correct. The first few episodes I nearly turned off because they use certain words that they probably shouldn't, and claim that it's ironic so therefore it's okay... I'm still not sure how I feel about that, but there are a lot of funny bits throughout so I've continued to listen. I hesitate to recommend it to anyone because of how liberally they use certain words, so take it with a grain of salt for sure.

 

Yeah, I had an idea that it'd be like that. I'm at least curious to try it.

 

Adomian is great on Chapo btw. It's good to hear him doing Zizek again, even if only briefly.

 

I think I'm going to be Gil Faizon for Halloween. Looking for my George St Geegland.
