Insane that it’s been 10 years. What a weirdly unique comedy voice. He would absolutely be killer on all these pods like Doughboys and Guys.

 

Always loved Mitch’s story of them listening to this at Harris’s funeral and crying, then someone mentioned how they sing “Richard Donner’s balls” and Mitch lost it laughing.

 

Can't believe it's been 10 years. Time goes by so fast. We're only a month away from it being 20 years since Mitch Hedberg passed.

 

Do you know where he tells this story out of curiosity?

 

Pretty sure it’s a doughboys episode with Rust but can’t remember for sure so this post was very unhelpful!

Apparently before SNL 50 there was a surprise lineup at the Comedy Cellar with tons of people who were there doing sets. Nate Bargatze, John Mulaney, Steve Martin, Martin Short, Chris Rock, David Spade, Leslie Jones back to back to back.

Bargatze said it was basically a comedy dream show for the audience and they only paid $18 a ticket to see it.

 

Do people not realize this William Banks dude is doing a Dan Hentschel type bit? People really think he’s been in jail and legitimately broke out?

 

I don't know who those people are

 

He’s a comedian who stole pro-Israel lawn signs and got charged for it. Turned it in to weird performance art schtick where he has pretended to be in jail posting vids from a burner phone. He “broke out” yesterday.
