I only caught the last half of it but it was amazing. Watching the rest now.

the new Erowid episode of "Guys" is so funny

 

I died at JF: "YOU HUFFED GASOLINE OUT OF A LAWN MOWER!?!?!?" and when he got pumped because he'd actually taken dramamine. The perfect guest for that ep. These first three episodes have been bangers.

 

Been a few weeks behind on TFO, got to last week’s episode and was so pumped to see they were back in studio. Always thought the biggest issue with the show had been the zoom records.

I regret to inform you that it didn’t make much of a difference at all and it still just seems like they don’t like or watch basketball and have no interest in having fun with it again lol. Just feels like listening to them do a group chore 90% of the time.

Gonna give it another few weeks of studio records but might be unsubbing soon, which is wild considering how I felt about the show three years ago

 

Yeah I fell off at the end of last season then resubbed this year and cancelled within a month or so

 

Stopped listening about a year ago tbh

 

I’m very close to dropping especially since CCHC is done and that was actually funny at times. I usually barely pay attention when I listen.

as a former erowid guy, I’m really happy they started with some nutmeg reviews. That was always the one I was most fascinated by but never tried

 

I wasn’t familiar with murder bryan but the sex guys episode is one of the funniest podcasts I’ve ever listened to. I had to step away from making dinner last night because I couldn’t breathe from laughing.

I binged the entire back catalog of all the Shocktober stuff and it's completely taken over my psyche. I just go around singing "Tuna Fish" now and saying "Cheeeeeeeerrrrrrrsssssuuuuuhh"

Kinda? He dumped all of his backlog onto his Patreon after the StreetFightRadio breakup, so there's a million things on there. Every year he does "Shocktober", where he deep dives radio shock jocks.

I only know Bryan from The PODKast. Maybe I'm biased because I'm from Columbus, too, but I could listen to him talk about anything for hours. GUYS is such a singular, Bryan-style podcast.

 

The story he told on the PODkast about the Ozzfest he went to that stopped selling beer and turned into a riot resulting in cops handcuffing people to trees and leaving them there has not left my thoughts since

 

Him watching “Ted” with different guests in half-hour increments is such a dumb idea, but I love it.
