Wife and I were talking about comedy shows we've been to and some of our favorites. Oddball Festival 2014 was a standout for us.

I know Seinfeld is a POS but seeing him with my family back in like 06 or so was pretty cool.

 

Oddball 2014 for me too.

And going to The Comedy Store and seeing Marc Maron, Ron Funches, Jeff Ross, Bill Burr, Jamar Neighbors, Bobby Lee, Kirk Fox, and a bunch of others.

Seeing Tig and Friends at Largo and having Kroll and Mullaney come out and do the opening for the awards show they were hosting the next day was really cool.

Getting Doug with High with Harris, Rory, Eric Andre, Steve Agee, and Jonah Ray was pretty special.

Doug Loves Movies with Chris Evans.

Hannibal dropping in and workshopping material at Put Your Hands Together.

Seeing Mitch, Carl Tart, Paul Rust, Neil Campbell, Mike Hanford, and Betsy Sodaro do improv together.

 

The Getting Doug with High ep with Harris, Rory, Eric Andre, Steve Agee, and Jonah Ray was so good.

 

It's also Oddball 2014 for me lmao. Seeing Doughboys with Carl Tart.

 

I went to one of the oddballs but don’t remember which one.

definitely Chappelle cause I think we were the next show after some shit went down in Boston? God I’m old. It was only like 10 years ago and I can’t remember shit lol.

 

Pretty sure that was 2013.

2014 was Louis CK and Sarah Silverman

 

Also not comedy per se but I did see Whit Thomas, Jonah Ray, Ben Roy and Mark Hoppus do a cover of Waiting Room and that was pretty cool.

 

My freshman year of college, my university had free Chelsea Peretti and Rory Scovel shows in a 120-cap venue three weeks apart. And then every subsequent comedian they booked for that venue over the next four years was somebody I’d never heard of and haven’t heard of since lol

 

Gethards new hour is great. Really funny with a lot of heart. Made me miss my dad.

he also did a beautiful anonymous show before the set (i didn’t go to that) but that was filmed for TV, curious where that ends up.

 

Coolest one I've probably been to was Conan's tour a few years ago. He did a set and a Q&A and brought out different comics each night, we got Rory Scovel and Marina Franklin and one or two more

 

Oh yeah I forgot I went to a Conan Tonight Show taping. Still mad at myself for not buying a shirt, not knowing at the time what would happen. The guests were Heidi and Spencer, Seth Green, and Brian Setzer Orchestra. The Heidi and Spencer segment was one of the most uncomfortable things I've ever witnessed, the crowd was extremely antagonistic to them and booed when they came out and them saying they wrote a book and it'd make a great holiday gift got the biggest laugh of the night. I remember hearing Jimmy Pardo, who did crowd warmup, later say that episode and the Sarah Palin episode were the most awkward things he'd ever seen.
